I've had three of these, hoping they'd function the design idea is genius ,how ever the slightest leak in air renders it useless, Ive had weed spill in my pocket too. also the magnet rusts , I had one magnet come right out. I finally chucked em all , got a protopipe best weed pipe on the planet . PROTOPIPE.

I had one of these pipes and it lasted almost 2 years. I liked it, but there was a few issues. 1. The seam where the two halves come together does not make an air-tight seal. There is a significant amount of air leakage along that seam when drawing. While you can still get some decent hit, the difference is noticeable. 2. The shape of the bowl makes it so that all of the suction is concentrated in the center and very little along the edges. You will need to stir it while you smoke in order to get a complete burn. 3. The opening at the bottom IS big enough to suck in ground bud, so I recommend using metal screens. 4. The bowl is not very deep, and if you have loose or chunky material, it is possible for that to get caught when opening and closing the lid. 5. The magnets that hold the lid, and the entire piece together, are held in by nothing more than a dab of glue. I would NOT recommend putting this under hot water for that reason. In my case, the glue softened and the magnets kept coming out which was a recurring problem.

Omg this guy is a maniac! I originally thought he was serious because I watched a review for a pipe, but no this is absolutely great. Real shit, for a second my roommate and I were like, "Is he gonna drink some antifreeze...? Because I'm not convinced he doesn't know not to drink antifreeze."

after about a year or so the "stainless steel" burned off and underneath was a brassy looking metal. Guess where all of the "stainless steel" went... into my lungs. Not good!

I just purchased one based on this review and couldn’t be happier. I’m old so I still like glass and the Proto for nostalgia. But the Journey 3 is more convenient, extra good looking and comfortable in a pocket. Best of all, you can easily have a clean smoke everyday. You steered my right. Thank you.

I could even continue this review with further reasons why this si the best pipe in the world - Easiest to clean by far, this alone would make it the best pipe. All areas are of easy access, you can wipe it completely clean in seconds. Meaning that it will more often be clean. Pipes just start being dirty and needing cleaning all the time - When indoor use a hemp wick so you dont have inhale lighter gas - You can really get good at knowing how to exactly burn what you are smoking as you can see the green directly before your eyes - You can easily smoke hash or others easily. This i have found non other pipe that does this properly without making a mess. This is easiest way Ive ever smoked hash on its own - When you get used to using the flame of the wick you can get better and better at heating it at the right distance and you can vaporize with this rig - Taste is very good - The only con is that you are better off hitting this a few times and taking your time rather than trying to do big rips, big inhales dont taste that good on this, although ive stabed it into the side of an empty water bottle and used that as an expansion chamer to turn this into a bong - This is the only pipe youll ever need, ive got them all and this is the dessert island type one. Remember best smoked indoors with hempo wick to light it, it does have its learning curve but its a flawless pipe

This worked. Dog drank antifreeze we forced a half gallon of water... she survived the night. Next day i gave her 3 benadryl 1/2 pint of jack Daniel's straight down the hatch and 1 raw egg from a cup straight down the hatch... waited 3 hours added more water.... she peed finally passed out... now on day 3 I gave her another raw egg and more water and a couple hours ago she finally ate a cheeseburger on her own. I would say that the J3 is in the top 3 and definitely a contender for the number one spot . But for me the ultimate carry pipe is the original Proto Pipe & if you don’t have one purchase one if you can. They are a pain to clean but are discrete and will last several lifetimes. If you do purchase order extra pokers. The J3 is a pleasure and easy to clean. I actually find the J3 easier to clean than the J2. And there is nothing like indulging from a clean pipe. The Journey pipes are rugged and will last years. The third pipe that deserves a shout out is the HOJ. Also made of aluminium. It truly provides the smoothest and coolest cough less inhalation of all metal pipes todate. But it looses to the Journey for durability. In cleaning the HOJ, the black coating came off when exposed to orange chronic pipe cleaner. Thus I drop it to the 3rd place despite the fact it is the best smoothest hand pipe in existence. As you are a connoisseur I must give a shout out to Purr glass . The 14mm Corncob bubbler is as close to nirvana one can get. Tis a glass water pipe with zero drag. Indulging is like breathing in air and super easy to clean. Those who own one know what I’m saying. As a collector of glass not even my Sovereignty Peyote Pillar comes close. Great review 😁.

I've been using a Journey 2 since they came out and it still works great. I have a Journey 3 as well, but I like the bowl on the 2 better. Don't buy knockoffs, they are not the same.

Does it work for humans? Think how many sleeping humans have shoved rAť tests up their nose. The tip is soaked in antifreeze. Then all these people dropping from cardiac arest.

1. Doing just fine so far. We just got up to go out and go pee. I was going to text last night: I think buddy is taking his "alcohol/patron" almost as well as I do.... he is relaxed and Sleepy Just this morning I watched ... Within one hour ALL the antifreeze (ethylene glycol) is fully ABSORBED. About 5 cc's is lethal to a cat... Looked like about one cup would be lethal to a 10 to 20 pound dog... within 3 to 4 hours the the initial Acidosis that cause them to behave as if drunk, wobbly, clumsy, etc wears off... And toxicity starts... TREATMENT window MUST BEGIN within 8 to 10 hours...or it is too late. Within about 24 hours they can be in very severe toxicity ...and they can be in severe irreversible acute renal (kidney) failure. Everclear/other high proof alcohol MUST BE STRATED within 8 to 10 hours after ingestion.... i.e. treatment has to begin right away. i.e. have UNOPENED everclear ON HAND. & From internet: What is a home remedy for antifreeze poisoning in dogs? However, only induce vomiting if the poisoning has occurred in the previous two hours. Give one teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to your dog for every five pounds of their body weight, with a maximum of three teaspoons at one time. The teaspoons should be spaced 10 minutes apart. 2. Antifreeze Poisoning - Is Vodka an Antidote? | Pet Poison Helpline /antifreeze-poisoning-vodka-antidote/ The alcohol dosage for a medium sized dog is equivalent to approximately 8 shots of vodka every 4-6 hours and you can expect to see the consequences of alcohol intoxication. Internet: Medium-size dogs typically weigh 30 to 70 pounds. 8 shots = 12 ounces = 1.5 cups = 355 cc's = 355 ml Soo, for buddy, who weighs right about ten pounds...maybe 12 on a full belly lol... given the weight range is about 1/4th to 1/3 the dosage...so around 2 shots to 3 shots (2.64 rounded up) of vodka/ patron... = 4 ounces vodka/patron (3.96 ounces) = just barely "half a cup" of vodka/patron (0.495 cup) = 117 cc's = 117 ml Both Vodka & Patron are: Alcohol/volume: 40% "Proof" = 80. ***** Most shot glasses hold around 1.25 oz. to 1.5 oz., 1 us fluid ounce = 29.574 milliliters 1 cc = 1 ml 1 shot = 44 cc ***** So if measuring out straight Everclear...which is 95% Alcohol = 190 proof.... That would mean: MEDIUM SIZED DOG using Everclear would be: 3-1/2 shots everclear (3.368 shots of everclear) [ Basically HALF AS MUCH Everclear as vodka].. 3.368 shots = 5 ounces = 0.632 cup almost 3/4 of a cup or a little more tha half a cup 3.368 shots = 149 cc's = 149 ml <every 4 to 6 hours> Buddy size 10 to 12 pounds approximately would then be: A little bit under a full shot of everclear (0.842 of a shot of everclear to as much as 1 shot of Everclear (1.11 shot of everclear) Sooo...for buddy: one shot glass = 1.25 ounces to 1.5 ounces of Everclear... Or 37 ml to 44 ml of Everclear... Or 0.156 of a cup to 0.1875 of a cup of Everclear <every 4 to 6 hours> (Bottom line ...slightly MORE DRUNK in this situation is better than not drunk enough! ) And those dosages are given every 4 to 6 hours... !!! To be started immediately do not wait more than 8 to 10 hours after initial exposure to begin or prognosis would be VERY poor. 4. Just had to work through the math... WOW... "IF" this had The tiny bottle of patron is only 50 ml = 1.691 ounces = 0.211 cup ... Which means buddy would have needed: TWO TINY BOTTLES of patron/vodka 50 ml each x times two = 100 ml immediately just for the first 4 to 6 hours.... And here I had only given him a about a 1/10th to 1/8th of a bottle.... wow... If he really drank antifreeze in any significant quantity I would NOT have had NEAR ENOUGH...and CERTAINLY did NOT give him enough!! Well, CLOSE CALL.... Good thing... Now that I have done a little more research, I should be a little more prepared...and hopefully there will NOT be a next time, but if there is, hopefully buddy and I will be able to cope with a hangover and bark about it later...!

Well its nothing in the bowl that makes it taste bad, the rasen that builds there gets you the flavor! Also I just clean my pipes regularly, like every few months I buy some bong cleaner and soak my glassware in it, the best day they are squeaky clean after a quick rinse. My only complaint is the cleaner is too good and it's hard to get the screens to stay in place lol

Anyone use iso to clean this product? If so, did it cause damage to the finish? I’ve given up on their recommended olive oil to clean and finally gave in to iso for a thorough cleaning. I soaked the bowl/chamber area for a few hours w oil and it fails to clean well.
