Punctuation is a lot like personal hygiene; ignore it all you like, but don't be surprised when people draw their conclusions. Example 1: Just try leaving out the comma next time you tell someone, "I'm sorry, I love you."

It doesn't refer to actual Nazis (National Socialists) for Christ sake, it refers to people who are overly obsessed with grammar and go crazy at even the slightest mistakes, even going as far as using personal insults and even telling people to kill themselves. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi myself sometimes. My comment was meant to be a joke anyway, so there's no need to take it seriously. I doubt this guy is actually one of those crazy grammar nazis and I doubt even more that he's an actual Nazi.

Not quite true. I heard one of the 'victims' of our grammar hero on the radio. He said 'I have built up a successful business without the benefit of a good education. I am grateful that the incorrect apostrophe which was making me look foolish has been removed'.
