@@Diakakis123 Sure, 1 healer can be enough. As long as the dps do the 7k+ dps, its fine. 1 or 2 healer dont matter after 6mins, impossible to heal.

Skumfil has the lowest morale on the left side, thats why I did it, took 1 hour in total. The music is the lotro soundtrack but i grabbed it from the lotro yt channel and edited it in. I could solo more instances but it'll take ages, will do Grand Stairs probably tho.

@@yannickdurant2507 You mean my traits? Or my gear? My gear is not anything special. Riftset and mostly crafted jewelry. Since mitigations of enemies got adjusted and increased with a recent patch, this fight plays out differently now. And to be honest killing the castellan solo on the 2nd floor is harder than killing Udunion with captain.

I honestly cant give you a good answer. After the last patch the mitigations of the content got changed. I have not tested anything besides the first couple adwaves in rift. I did not play much lotro the last couple weeks. Every class seems to deal way less damage than before. So doing this now is way harder than it was before. If hunter can do it? Maybe? I cant give you a good answer. Sorry

This was my first time playing blue champ, idk the details and didnt think about that. Regardless playing hobbit champ using that giant axe from urugarth looks super ugly, ill stick to the 2 onehanders, just looks better :D

@@AriamaAruven haha, you can use two-handed axe from Urugarth, but replace itss cosmetics with another propriate more hobbit version. just a tooltip from me :D

Im a bit confused. I am entering the backroom at around 28:44 and the everseer dies at around 30:40.

@@AriamaAruven yeah, I rewatched and realized that you cleared both side chambers clearing the water in the main pool. That was my surprise and cause of confusion. I skipped a little during first watching so I missed the moment when you cleared the right side chamber

Im not a mage class player, I only leveled the LM because I saw it could solo Balrog. So, no, I dont have a Runekeeper and will also never happen, lol, i find it really boring :/

Yea when you turn the wheels in the backroom and leave he just gets stuck at the door and doesnt move anymore. As long as you dont get too close, he does nothing. Sometimes you see me getting a double fear debuff, that happens when I go too close to him.

@@XenoReekahWelsh Ah sorry, somehow I did not realise this was a 2 part question. Well, in the first 25% of the Balrogs HP, the Balrog stacks with some of his melee attacks a debuff on me that increases the damage of his critical attacks. The debuff lasts 15 seconds and runs out if not being hit. If I feel like im in the danger of maybe dying, I run away and let the debuff run out.

@@XenoReekahWelsh Follow up: This fight was recorded when i was not yet fully comfortable with the fight. If I would do the fight now. I would not run anymore during this phase. Im more confident in the fight now, my Beorning is stronger and I know which phases are threatening and which are not. But in the beginning its sometimes better to be more safe than sorry.

This was video made more for the sake how to do this fight in the most easy way, because I got asked to showcase that, since people had trouble beating these fights on Lore-Master. Surely there are ways to speed up this fight, but im not really interested in finding out the absolute best way to do this. As long as it works, it works. Wizards Lore slows by 30%, its the blue ability on my "4".

Recuperate is not in yellow, its from blue line. You can see my traits at 13:17 in the video. I had to take it because the yellow line healing was just not enough to keep me afloat througout the whole fight. And yea claw swipe is now an ability you always have, no matter the traits. If you check out the non nerfed Beorning Thaurlach kill on my channel, you can see the difference in healing. It was nerfed by 85%. It kinda killed the Beorning as a main healer in low level. But theres no real hard content, so it does not get pushed to its limit. But noone wanted to take a Beorning Healer for Festival Thrang T2 because it was just simply too weak.

@@AriamaAruven I had a little check of prior patch notes to see what they did to bear. Pretty big changes tbf. You enjoying the new bear; vs the old one? Yeh the heal difference is massive :D I wonder if bear can even heal Ivar T2C anymore. Whenever those Leg servers get there.

@@TorvinRW The 2 differences I really like are that the mark you had to put on the enemy is gone, beeswarm now always aoe spreads in yellow. And that you can now move around in relentless maul.

@@AriamaAruven Hmm bee swarm always being AoE seems a little troll for fights where you can't hit adds; or adds need to be stunned. Maul on the move sounds amazing. Mark changes was needed; that was super troll. also no more mark exploiting then I guess. :D

Today was a big patchday, and the Balrog is now slow immune. I also underestimated the stat change that was included. I went into Rift just to check, and I basically now deal 50% less damage because of the improved mitigations of enemies. I assume that goes for every class now. I dont know If i have the energy left to try Rift fully again on Beo and/or LM with these harder terms before Moria releases in December. I probably just wait it out and just wait for Moria. A bit burned out from doing Rift so much.

Hey, I assume you are my lost old english friend? Yes, im still in contact with sard and bara. Lotro had a stat squish at some point in the last 1-2 years, so all numbers are lower now and most combat in low level got even easier because of that. I was also surprised that LM could turn the leavers without the elf dying, but i saw other LMs saying they beat this fight solo, so I also try it. This was also before I found out the LM has a +35% speed boost for 8 seconds in his kit. Also i think theres a way for you to keep aggro from the balrog if you use the summoned bear and the flanking abilities correctly, but I dont know how.

My god was that class dull for so many years at lower levels. Loremaster has a sprint now? I thought you store potted a sprint speed tbh; shows how much I pay attention :D Ah, cool. I look forward to watching you continue LM solo's and master the class like you did guardian tbh.

@@TorvinRW Lore master dps is totally broken now and way ahead above everyone else, atleast on lvl 50. I used the store ones because I didnt know I can use lightning strike after a flanking effect to get an 8 seconds 35% speed boost. In the next patch they will make the Balrog immune to slow effects, so I am not sure if LM still can beat it, I will have to try and see and if it works I upload another video. Moria comes out in December, and the LM and the Beo will continue to be my 2 main classes I try to do alot of things solo with.

You just have to tank the puke debuffs. Get enought HP, like 3.5k, have store removal pots ready. Instanly cleanse as much as possible and then just kite out the rest until you can remove the all.

@@dylan__dogthe bear removal is 3 on a 15s cd, so with store removing 3 and bear, I can instantly remove all 5

@@dylan__doganother thing to avoid them is bpe through skills, the +15% evade and ofc the 100% evade (though that’s on a 2.5 min cd)

@@mrsock9135 Always do Zurm first. If Barz is dead, Zurm gets the range stone attack. You need to burn down the adds quickly, so 1x unstun is enough. Pre plant the fire ring and use all strong aoe attacks like I did in the video

@@AriamaAruven Ah thank you. I didn't know you could stop Zurms long stun. I thought you just got super lucky or something. I actually assumed you had to kill Barz to open up the way to Zurm tbh. Thanks for the info.

@@mrsock9135 yes, you can choose which one to kill first, and if one is dead the other one gets an extra ability, zurm gets the range stone attack, and barz gets the "I will bring this cave down upon you " skill

Might have to go try again. Do any of the gold quality (epic?) items, like the bell, drop on T1 or have to be T2 or T3?

I know they wont fix anything, but couple things would be needed to make this fight interesting again. 1. Buff his HP by +400% so he actually has time to use the skills a couple times. 2. Make it so the bossroom removes the shop +5 hope buff from your buffbar, so you actually have to play with 5 dread. 3. Make it so, he keeps standing in the middle and is not moving, so the line of sighting of his damage is not possible anymore.

To be honest this was my first time playing blue Champion since lvl 75 was levelcap on live servers, I dont really know whats good or bad, or how viable it is. This fight is not possible on red or yellow, thats why I went with blue. @@enth1980 I think every class can solo Udunion. Castellan Wisdan upstairs is more of a challenge because of the reflect and the amount of adds that spawn over time.

I'v been thinking about that aswell, but I dont see any other class having the strength to do this. Having played also captain and champion at lvl 50 on mordor, they for sure dont feel like they have the ability to do it. Maybe warden has a chance? i dont know how strong they are currently are at lvl 50

I agree, Im a bad Lore-master. Im not comfortable on LM, due to the fact that this is me playing the lore-master for the first time ever, and reaching lvl 50 only a couple days ago. Also this was just my 2nd attempt trying this fight

I just tried to go for as much HP as I could, so survive any potential disease vomits. I just reached 50 a couple days ago. Using rift set, with ancient ruins clock, crafted sword, crafted morale bracelet, elronds necklace, crafted earring, eregion earring, coblaiths rings

At 00:29 in this video you can use a yellow line im using for solo. But tbh im changing it up depending on what I need in the specific fight. For yellow in groups i change it up, and skill the combat rezz and increase the strenght of Nature's Mend instead of some other points like improved claw swipe. Red line i dont use very often, because the selfheal on red is very weak, so its only viable in group content where you are chosen to be dps or for easy solo content where you only face a couple enemies at a time like normal questing. In red I do NOT trait into Execute nor Savage Knockdown nor Blood Prize nor Final Strike.

what do you mean "classes got nerfed for no reason" ? you referring to the captain/beorning healing nerf? Also the "glitching", I dont call it glitching in this case, but its for sure a weird bug thats going on. Im not doing anything wrong here, I just go into the everseer room, pull the necessary leavers and then leave. From my memory the everseer used to get stuck in the room if you do it like this because the door would close again. But him T-posing at the door is a thing for years now, it was a thing on the Treebeard server and it was a thing on the Anor server already. They did not fix it for 6-7 years now alteast. They should just make it so the leavers in the room are not usable as long as the everseer is alive, that would fix this issue easily.

For me the gameplay of the class has to be fun, doesnt matter how strong or weak they are. I like melee classes thats why I like to play classes like Guardian, Beorning, Champion, Captain. Every class has the potential to solo low level group content, some more, some less. If a class can't solo specific instances/raids, its fine, I can still find my limit in the other instances.
