I have dyspraxia and I am in year 9 I am choosing my GCSE this year and I told one of my new friends I have dyspraxia and now she has been treating me weirdly So I have got so emotional 😢

I have to laugh. Even though one girl was accepted into the life program at college and was accepted into the cheerleaders squad, she was rejected from sororities due to down syndrome. It would be worse if she was rejected from every single thing in life. Even though people with disabilities are encouraged to mainstream, there is still discrimination and prejudices going around. It would also be a shame if people with disabilities would be rejected from partaking in sheltered workshops. Some people with down syndrome could be good natured. When this happens, people use and take advantage of that person.

There is permanent herbs to improve autism. It’s a medicine you can get from Dr Oyalo TH-cam channel, his herbs have made my son improve perfectly in his speech and social skills.

This is a superb video series. Most of what I've seen only features people talking /explaining the various conditions - which I truly appreciate as well - but seeing and hearing from the children themselves and clips of the school environment makes it easier to understand.

Very inspiring video indeed! Despite Charlotte's physical disability, I'm glad the school provides such a supportive environment for her to grow.

What an amazing group of teachers, I wish my twin sister and I had had teachers like this. We still have nightmares about our school years and we are 58 years of age!

One of your suggested readings, "The Reason I Jump by Naoki Hogashida" has been shown to be a hoax and was almost certainly written by his mother, just to let you know. Whilst some non-speaking Autistic people can communicate via text and/or sign language, not only has facilitated communication (the method of which Naoki purportedly wrote the book) been thoroughly debunked but the writing style of the text matches that of his mother.

It gives me so much pain that school system have so often been ignorant & inflexible, because they have the answers & don’t acknowledge differences in learning styles & abilities. It’s great to know some accept that we are not all born equal.

The fact that they both so uncomfortable and have to start changing the subject kind of demonstrates why the problem exists. They have to keep adding "but other groups have problems if you measure it differently." and "It's very complicated". Even facing the problem makes them feel bad, so how can it possibly be solved? The guy even ends up arguing that immigrants do better because institutional racism makes them struggle more. He's so tied to the idea that britain is racist to minorities...he ends up arguing that the racism must be a good thing.

Teach them to clean up the shit they always leave behind

My father used to say why do you need an education. It was very intimidating for me as a child. I enjoyed school and like meeting new people. However it doesn't matter what education you have. If you don't have the right language, as in speaking, you won't get a job. My mother is a non traveller, so I learnt to change my voice depending who I was talking to. Peer pressure works both ways. In primary school I was one of the top students, as soon as I went to senior school it was down hill from there. Not the same reception from the secondary school, I went from top to the bottom. Even my form tutor in my reports questioned why I was at the bottom. Luckily the head mistress must of read it. I was put back up in the last two years. Unfortunately my father didn't believe in education and influenced me to become a builder. This isn't me, I like intellect, and when there is no one to talk to, it becomes a lonely place. I do hope the peer pressure changes, as for some of the children they are suited to the traveller way of life, however back then the children that where different, speaking for myself, didn't have a voice. With my grandfather it was different, they talked philosophy and politics, but my father's generation to me was different. I enjoyed the elders. It would of been nice to have both options available. It would of been nice if it was my choice. I am speaking for myself, it may be different for others. I love my traveller roots as well as my Gorga roots, however there are parts that I don't agree with, with both sides.

Thank you for helpful video. What is your opinion on how to educate the neurotypical children that are mean to the dyspraxic child in the classes? (see 5:08-5:50). Obviously a culture of awareness of neurodiversity can make the biggest difference to "hit the button" in assisting neurodiverse children scholastically. But how is that achieved?

I do have Down syndrome because so no Down syndrome is not scary but I also having a job with COVID 19 I do work am working on goals on this weekend Down syndrome means I have one extra chromosome disorder 21st chromosome but I also anybody people having Down syndrome medical issues I have learned all mistakes and errors so I think most important things we do this is amazing house I have three dogs I live with my mom she learns social distance learning I like to cook vaccim and shopping I graduated from high school college every year we stayed home together your family members are the best scariest transparent scared me I was child we’re taking a time

I wish I can go to a SEMH school, I wouldn't be as anxious coz i know that others have probably have the same difficulties as me so then I wouldn't be judged when I have my "moments" seeing as most kids there will have gone through the same thing so I would be understood more and not made fun of coz of the way I act, I have ADHD, Autism and OCD btw and CAMHS are going to see if I have learning difficulties (like dyslexia for example, not saying that they are testing me for dyslexia its just an example, I'm not sure what they think I might have) and getting tested (maybe) for social and generalized anxiety and I think I have ODD so I need to tell my mum so she can tell CAMHS and see what they think

I disagree ‘the Government have got it the wrong way round’. They are both equally as important. Vocabulary just hasn’t been exposed as much as it should have been during early years and Primary, We expose children to children’s books that just do not have sufficient vocabulary.
