It's been over a decade since I've been here, so thanks for this! Lovely seeing it again. I really only remember the theater area. food court area, a massive Bass Pro Shops and a Toby Keith restaurant that was closed shortly after my last visit.

About the Applebee's: it shut down, that's just what's left of it. I no longer live in the area, but my folks do. They told me it was unexpected. One day, closing shift closed & locked up the store, said "see you at work tomorrow." Next day the openers came to locked doors with notes saying the store was permanently closed. Nobody had any clue it was gonna happen. Hell, I was there only a month and a half before it shut down. Either way, take my thirdhand recounting with a grain of salt. All I know is that it was not as well handled as it should've been.

Update they toppled younkers and are building a clinic, harbor freight went into best buy.

6 mil' to repair? I wonder how that compares to what it would cost to demolish?

Childhood mall! I went to this mall when I was little, as of today I no longer live in Wisconsin, but I still have childhood memories of being in that mall

Walgreens also opened there in 1971, closed to relocate to free standing in 2003

My family is from New Harmony and still have family that lives there. .I have such fond memories. <3

I went here in 2022 and walked around. I’m younger so things were already starting to close down but it was oddly beautiful there when I saw it again. Does anyone know if you can get in the main entrance?

Willowbrook was absolutely horrendous! The 1979 expose by fox news was shocking. 75 mentally ill children packed in each room, no clothes, fighting over scraps. They shut it down in the late 80's

Dude thanks for this video. I had 2 different apartment complexes I wired both within less than a quarter mile radius from this building. It's funny because one day in the work van I drove by with my coworker Danny and he said that looks like it used to be a white castle restaurant

My dad used to take me to Indy from Bloomington to go to a Colts game every year in November or December, and before or after the game we would go Christmas shopping at Circle Centre. It was such a cool mall and I looked forward to it almost as much as the game. It’s sad to see what has happened to it. I live in Indy now and haven’t been inside Circle Centre in years, and there’s nothing to draw me back.

That used to be a Sega arcade. It's been there since opening in 1995. It was AMAZING.

I remember our school band playing at circle center once. Before thay I'd only ever go there with parents or family. That was the first time I was able to just simply walk around on my own in circle center.

Happened upon this place while making a pilgrimage to Red Lobster, wanting to revisit it since their own bankruptcy loomed. Is this another case of a TX property holding firm letting a mall decay and blight a community because it's more good to their pocketbook as a tax writeoff?

You should check out Washington square mall. There are basically only community vendors, but large sections are unlit and abandoned and it's kinda sketch. They got security people everywhere.
