Hi Nick, firstly thanks for producing a very enjoyable and relaxing video. I was intrigued about your paragliding plan, sounds great. It is something, along with hang gliding, which I tried years ago. So best of luck with your training. Now, I am 66 yrs old, and wanting to get into sea kayaking. I am fit an active. So confident with myself in that way. But need advice to getting started. I live in the North East of England. So intending to purchase a kayak and start out on rivers and lakes, before tackling the sea. Any advice? Thanks.

Just found your channel. Great film. I’m inspired! I moved up to the Highlands a couple of years ago and have developed a yearning for sea kayaking! I’m off for some training in a week. Hopefully I’ll be out on the sea in the spring. Happy paddling.

Nick, as always many thanks. I finished my first three day kayak expedition yesterday and was feeling very flat until I watched your video. You have inspired me to look at that coastline as I’m only in Kintyre. So good to have you and your films back.

Those coffee filters are excellent (ground Columbian Arabica ), wood burning stoves are useful and leave no trace, I use either Solo Stove, small backpacking one or the larger Titan one, and a homemade penny-can meths stove for backup with homemade wind shield. If any consolation Nick this summer was really awful weather, June - cold and wet with July not much better. hopefully we will have an Indian Summer to enjoy. All best

Firstly great video with some lovely views, and them photos of the Sea Eagles where beautiful. So glad to hear you are now feeling more at peace with yourself, and it was very brave of you to share your story, I'm sure it will give hope to others who may be going through something similar. My spirit lifted when I saw your video notification, thank you, and for sharing your health experiences, this greatly helps me get a better understanding of others who are managing the same sitiuation and to realise how big a struggle it is and to acknowledge that. Dear Nick, I have only just come across you on YT. There is a UK Christian Men's organisation that I belong to that have helped many men suffering from depression - all helped without the use of any medication. They are CVM - Christian Vision for Men. God bless you.

It’s so good to see you back again sharing your love of kayaking and the outdoors. Thank you for also relating your struggles with your illness and the frankness of how you continue to recover. You have so much to say which gives us an insight and understanding of dealing with this mental illness. You are such an engaging communicator with so much of value to share and watching and listening to your stories is always a highlight of my TH-cam viewing. I’m looking forward to your new walking adventures, especially as you head around the NE coast (can’t wait to see your paragliding footage.) I use your videos of your leg around the Moray Coast along to Aberdeen to inform my own wee excursions in my Necky kayak so thanks again. Take care and enjoy being afloat again!
