Electrical Unistrut instead of shocks, clip ons wayyyy too low. This bike is 100% uncomfortable through and through. Throw the lowes special suspension away put some clubmans on it and then you can ride it and call it a “cafe”. You can’t pull that much of the fork through the trees either, that is insanely dangerous as the lower tree is now your spring stop. Also you didn’t flatten the frame, you just cut the back half off, i have 8 of these bikes, i’d know, if you didn’t hoop it then it’s eventually gonna shit the swing arm out. I couldn’t sell anyone a bike that is this unsafe and cheaply made

The Mk1 Scirocco was my first brand new car here in the UK and it was BRILLIANT! I don't know about the US, but over here there are very few surviving Mk1s as it turned out they were soluble in water. I'd trade my Mk4 Golf GT (Rabbit) for a good one of these in a flash.

I just got a 1979 varsity for free dude. 100% shwinn. Left side badges gone. But it is all there. Tires no rot even the pads. Road 12 times then sat in storage. What's a bike like that worth?
