How To Remove Rust Stains From A Porcelain Sink
Does anyone know why my combo unit leaks water when it goes into the drying mode? It started leaking water when we bought it at Costco. I have been talking with the company and they cannot provide any insight.
Thank you ❤
It's probably the cutest video o have ever seen
Thanks
Yes. We all know about CLR. it’s 50 years old. The first thing is no help. Too funny 😂
thanks, i love utube.
Is it noisy and does it walk?
I've looked into these.. quite literally.. Insit they gave either a heat pump or a condenser. Both of these are different from the traditional dryer in that neither send moist are into the laundry. The reason the door cannot be opened during drying is that the condenser type uses a very high heater to dry the clothes by the evaporation of water from them and then the condensation of that vapour into a cold metal housing that then drops into the drainage section of the machine. By opening the door the heat is lost and the dryer time is massively increased. Now the long dryer time is a trade off for efficiency. By having a longer cycle the machine is able to use smaller power elements and this translates to lower energy bills but the inconvenience of higher washing times. Well done to spot the damp clothes red herring. Also the condensation tubes on these are quite small and are vulnerable to being blocked with lint so don't neglect the cleaning of the machine. I bought a whirlpool decor hand and I'm fixing it as the dryer element had broken so I'm seeing how the condensation part works. In more humid climates the heap pump may be the better option. Yes the drum is smaller but it has no agitator and it is kinder on the clothes and uses a lot less water. Enjoy..
I have the same tiles in a storage room and I love them! I bought enough to do my bathrooms, but held off. Now I think I will put them in the bathrooms after seeing yours.
I had a Midea DMDV70 replaced under warranty for just over a year of use. It is used once a week. The replaced brand new unit has a rubbing noise. Is it normal? Video of the brand new DMDV70 in this link th-cam.com/users/shortsfQk3LJ6Julk?feature=shared
Why the whole lemon step???
As long as guest don’t fart after 11pm
The biggest downside is it is Made In China , communist.
great video !
I love mine too. Can't believe the bad reviews. Mine was only a $800 LG one but it rocks for one person.
Is there a lint trap in these?
It’s not very nice to call her “silly”. Do you have a self-esteem problem? I am sure sprinkling salt on the lemon would work just as well; just a matter of personal choice.
Or you could just say “You can also make a paste of lemon juice and salt and leave it for 15 minutes then you won’t need to scrub for so long” - which would be a much kinder comment 🥰
The most useless channel
Did you remove the baseboards/quarter round? Can I put these over existing linoleum that has squares as a design, if that makes sense. I'm wondering if the indentions/veining in the squares will make it not stick well. Thanks. And thanks for the gorilla spray advice.
Hi ... I was wondering if the Floor Pops become Slippery When Wet?
hi! They are not any more slippery than any other floor. Definitely not as slippery as tile.
How did I not know what a nail set is? I have a door frame that has been sitting in my garage to replace an old one, waiting until either I had the funds to invest in a pin nailer, or I could borrow one from somebody. It has literally been YEARS. I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money for this ONE project, as I do not foresee ever needing a pin-nail gun again in my life. THANK YOU!!!
I felt the same way! I made this video years ago and STILL haven't bought a nail gun, although I still want one :D
@@cabanastateofmindmy DEWALT finish nailer is prolly my favorite tool purchase.
Thank you!!!
Tong (whatever the spelling is) and groove boards???
yep
It stays together with just glue?
Yep but the boards are tongue and groove, they're designed to fit together and they sort of click into place, and then the trim pieces reinforce them. I go into more detail on the full blog post: www.cabanastateofmind.com/diy-barn-door-simple-and-affordable/
Can I marry you
Thank You for your review. We just did almost 500 sq. ft in 4 rooms of our house with this Style Selections wood laminate in the Tavern Oak as well. We used the Pergo premium underlayment / moisture barrier. At the end of this project, this flooring looks pretty darn good. I won't know about residential and pet durability for a while yet. I do have some Pros and Cons about the product after spending some time installing it. Though not a professional, I can and do read the product instructions and I have some construction experience as well as a table saw and mitre saw that really help with this kind of project. We also installed this on our small town bar music stage during COVID. Once we reopened, some damage was sustained by the setup and teardown of multiple bands worth of equipment over 8 months. Pros; 1. Our finished install does look great. 2. The surface seems very durable withstanding sliding small tools around on it, rubber hammer, nylon step hammer blocks, tape measure, etc. without damage during install. 3. Price point. By far the least expensive wood laminate we could find available anywhere. Don't forget though, you have to buy underlayment padding with this type of floor. Some better than others but and added expense changing that 0.99 per sq ft. Cons; 1. There are 5 patterns for the wood pictures laminated on each plank, a box has 8 planks in it. out of our initial 20 boxes, we had 2 certain patterns repeat more than any of the rest by 2 or more to 1. 2. The warping on the side joints the reviewer mentioned was not minor by any means and occurred most often in one pattern. These couldn't be "Hammered in place" using the correct tools, with other patterns without damage. Oddly enough the warped planks fit perfectly with their pattern / warp partners from the same box. Same pattern side by side is not desirable. 3. When the install method in the instructions was followed, most of the end joints were acceptable unless warped planks cut shorter to minimize the warp effects of the side joints were involved. Then the warp end wouldn't join properly with a straight plank, leaving a crooked end joint on their factory edges. 4. The locking grooves and tongues are QUITE FRAGILE and can be damaged when assembling/jockeying into place, leaving their own debris in the joints causing further fitment issues. 5. Some planks in 3 later purchased boxes had the same 5 patterns but some were spun 180 degrees on the plank to the initial boxes. Confusing after 20 boxes one way. 6. Planks already installed and found to require removal, for whatever reason, will likely be damaged, splitting the butt end on disengagement rendering that plank unusable except in applications where you would cut the butt end off like against a wall at a shorter length. 7. Finish of laminate on some edges can be poor and show up glaringly with the sun streaming in on them as you walk up to them, even after cleaning. This may cause the need to remove one and swap it out for a more desirable plank. In 75% of the cases this will split the butt end of one or more planks causing more waste. I have been using the term "warped" but in reality there is a manufacturing issue with these planks that negatively effects the squareness of the joints of certain pattern planks consistently. We started calling them "Wonky", swapping them quickly for a different one with perfect fit results. these Wonky planks will not bend the required 1/8 inch in the sideways direction no matter how hard you hit them. All in all, If you don't mind a big amount of waste per box via the wonky edges. Being on the floor installing, only to find out one of these wonky planks is in your hand. The fragile joints in general. The easily split in disassembly butt ends. Then this my be a good product for you. It does look good when done right. I will not buy this product again nor will I recommend it to anyone because, the waste factor pattern inequity and wonky joints is just ridiculous and frustrating.
Can we do grouting using spacer to give a better look
Yes! I would absolutely do this if I use these in another room. It would make them look even nicer and more like actual tile
End result?
Sorry, this video is terrible lol. You can see the end result on my blog www.cabanastateofmind.com/diy-barn-door-simple-and-affordable/
I did! Thank you for sharing all the dets!
Can it wash a king size comforter
I never had a king size bed when I owned this machine so I never tried. It might fit, but would probably be tight
Is the combo machine portable
I guess you could move it around but it is heavy and not on wheels. I think they do make a model that's on wheels and meant to be movable
Nice video 😊
A good comparison test would have been to treat a second stain with CLR only - the lemon/salt may have been unnecessary.
Yes or knowing what I know now, just refinishing with one of those DIY kits or replacing with a vanity! (Which is what we ended up doing in the long run)
Looks identical to the Sôlt 8kg Front load washing machine
Hello
Thank you, Tammy. This was the most helpful video yet on how to increase pressure in my system. Thank you for sharing.
very straightforward and informative -- thanks for the review!
Thanks for the vidéo, just I needed it!
Thank you!
What length finishing nail should be used?
pull out the sink and remove the rust...then paint with rust prust paint. reinstall.. the part you can see is nice but do a thorought job.
At the time I didn’t know you could do DIY refinishing! Probably would have done that had I known but part of the fun is learning as you go
Good job, might need you to do our bathroom floor.
Looks great! Big improvement. Where did you get the utilities scissors?
I see the link for the scissors now, TY
I have a question is it gas or electric?
How is it holding up?
You should try bar keepers friend. Works wonders.
for some reason you avoided showing us the shower AFTER. In any event, be careful there, looks like you could have some sealed up mold inside those shower walls that needs to be cleaned out. Nice work anyway, keep going!
No, lol, I ripped out the entire shower and it was (shockingly) clean as a whistle behind it. But I still need to re-finish the shower ceiling. The old plaster is peeling badly and it doesn’t look great aesthetically, which is why I chose not to spotlight it. But it’s on the long list of projects yet to be completed!
Do you know how well it works with pet hair?
That's not porcelain sink..just a baked clay or cement and coated white. It's so cheap so the Easiest way is to replace it. Another fast and cheap way is to use sandpaper and soap. Fine grade sandpaper
Good night Do you still have this machine
Good you are dumb. Lol😂
