This is the same size as my town home, which is not considered a tiny home. this feels more like a starter home. Beginning home options, I think the price would settle. If it became more common But it also depends on the state. Other states they are in some states would have them a lot cheaper. Some would be more expensive it all depends on the state, sadly. But I do feel it's going in the right direction mostly

Unlike other tiny homes at least this one has a garage. Something for a little extra storage and somewhere to park your car inside incase there's a hail storm or some other extreme weather.

Not sure about that ladder. If you break an arm or a leg it might be really hard to get to your bedroom. May have to sleep on your couch for 6 weeks.

This would be good for me. Live on my own I got no kids I don’t watch TV I’d just have a gaming setup and a bed. I don’t drive…I just ride bikes. Then my ebike in the hallway or I’d build a custom shed for it. Over all the place doesn’t look bad. I’d for sure live in it. I like to put fencing around the property that’s one thing I’d do and build a shed. If not put the bike in the house.

We moved to CL 19 years ago. It’s not the great place it was back then because of growth and they’re selling more water out of the lake. Lake is waay down and I can’t even launch my boat on it now. The (then) new high school was great for our kids.

It's a shame the lake isn't in really bad shape now All boat ramps are closed. Almost 28 ft down.😢

I would not use the term oasis any more. So many have come here that it not the oasis it was 10 years ago when I moved here full time. More traffic, more people, more restrictions but no more rain as the lake is now (11/24) about half full. Only one boat ramp open and it is not public. Some people are actually moving away from this 'Oasis'.

As of Nov 1 2024 there are no boat ramps open due to severe drought so boating, jet skiing is a problem right now. One good thing is that if the drought continues then there won't be summer crowds and noise. Seems like every year someone drowns in the lake. Also there is a big music complex venues around the area so traffic, congestion and noise can be an issue. One thing about the area is the abundance of wildlife- deer, fox, porcupine, raccoons, snakes, spiders, centipedes and I seen some big tarantulas too. If You don't want to miss a chance of hitting a deer with your car at night, come to Canyon Lake. The areas is gaining more development and population so it is losing some of its charm. Traffic is getting worse. Oh and the water supply is being challenged by the growth, so if you want your water and lawn like you had at your past home, get ready for water restrictions in the future. It use to be I could walk around my neighborhood and it was quiet. No so anymore, with traffic, construction, more people and barking dogs, I don't get the serenity Canyon Lake use to have.

Homesteading at its finest or a handymans dream?

Kind of reminds me of a detached 2 story townhouse. No shared walls is a good selling point along with a one car garage. Windows on the side walls too gives it a more open feeling. I have a 1100 sq ft two bedroom, two bathroom condo which is just the right size for me and everything is on one level which makes it just right for me at my age. 😊
