@ the roach are the worst, you know how a hook point can bonce off when scratching a scale to set a hook

@karlmclean2023 they can be a difficult bait but its a natural one 👍 my thinking is a big wary pike will not see it as a dangerous meal 🤔

Thanks Derek. I got to do 2 of the things I love the most and the scenery was fantastic so it made the photography very easy! I'm hoping to get back there again in 2025. And yes, I reckon Sean made a very good choice 😂

I wish more women were out there fishing and I'd love to help change the idea that it's a male sport. For me, fishing also includes, headspace, reflection, fresh air and when you're moving swims a lot, a good bit of excercise! 🙂

@@derekrobinson7928 the lake district is great for perch fishing and its easily accessable too i,ll definetly be targeting em on the lighter lure setups next year on lakes and canal,s too so hopefully a few video,s next year will be towards the perch fishing they,re such an underated fish stunning in colour i personally love em 👌😊

Hi James, congrats on the catch! It's been hard this season so far hasn't it? I think once the weather finally settles, we'll all hopefully see some more action! But you're right, catching or not, fishing gives us the chance to clear our minds and have something different to focus on.
