I forgive you, is great...fu take on a different meaning. No christian is perfect, so i look at this pastor and say wisdom was needed before thinking fu was the path to take in this sermon... Would God approve this forgive you...fu sermon probably not.

Pastor R.A. Vernon is a great man and pastor. Some people are so self righteous that they can't appreciate good teaching when hear it. Dr. Vernon teaches where folks of all age groups can learn from his style. I love him and feel he is truly an anointed man of God. We need more pastors like him.

God's word doesn't need any profane help. The Holy Spirit does not endorse this kind of preaching! What ever happened to discernment?

I do not believe in talking bad concerning a man of God but the Word, when spoken by the man of God from the pulpit, is and should be anointed and holy. I honestly do not sense this new connotation for the word "forgive" being inspired by God to be fed to the flock. I sense it was birthed by the man himself. We must remember that God is a holy God and while He is a Creator of a sense of humor, His humor never sways to conjure up carnality. As the preacher said "F-you" several times, I kept thinking of the "word" itself. If I forgive someone, then that's the exact word I'd use. Otherwise, it is offensive and fleshly and funny at the same time but I do not see God being glorified nor pleased with His people saying the word forgive in this manner---especially communicated from the pulpit in this way.
