    Thank you 🙏 iv been struggling with my g after I changed the radiator . Now it's back to normal 💪

    Need help!!! 2006 G35 sedan start overheating while on idle only. But it cools down back to normal when I start driving... I touched top radiator hose and lower thermostat hose and they were both hot. So I think both are working fine. No coolant leaking anywhere. Fans only work at times but not all the time. Maybe need a new fan, temp sensor, or head gasket issue?

    My brother has a 05 Nissan 350z and we changed his thermostat , when we try to bleed his car the radiator knocks ? Could that be the issue aswell the radiator, never heard a radiator knock before . At first I thought it was his motor but I got closer to the radiator as we were bleeding the system and it comes from there . Kinda on last point if it’s the radiator or the water pump . Just don’t want to buy the wrong part if it’s going to have the same issue of over heating .

    Rev your car with the cap back on ??? Where is the air leaving the system at ?

    • @Mary-80
      @Mary-80 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes..... Radiator cap On ... First make sure your heater in your car is at the highest temp (fan on) so coolant circulates throughout the heater core..No heat at idle means.... You still have air if the Heater cool or lukewarm,... Has to be HOT if you can't hold your hand over the vent for 30 seconds without a sting then it still has air Cap on 3 or 4 reps then turn the car off and let the engine cool. Then.... take off the radiator cap. Put in a No Spill Funnel and add coolant (you will need it when you open the bleeder.) Squeeze the upper radiator hose until you see no bubbles could take a while This helps to get air out this. Also you might see coolant go down it the funnel Then unscrew the bleeder valve NOT ALL THE WAY OUT BECAUSE it will gush When you see a steady stream or NO air bubbles. Tighten it back on not real tight it's plastic EASY 😂 If nothing comes out of bleeder valve air is blocking it. Repeat as many times as needed 06 G35 I have one THIS is a ROYAL PAIN IN THE AZZ...don't give up.😂

  • @Z33trell

    Lower hose is still cold and my heat isn’t working, replaced thermostat and tried bleeding it. I’m using the funnel kit but I’m not sure if I’m using it right lol i installed the funnel, opened the bleeder valve , filled the radiator till it over flowed and closed the bleeder after. Filled the funnel just a little so air wouldn’t get sucked in and turned the heat on full blast before I started the car. Before I started the car I did squeeze both hoses and I got bubbles from both. Once the car was started bubbles did come up but I have to keep turning it off after a while because the coolant will go in volcano mode. In your video are you saying to put the radiator cap back on after I put the bleeder back on and hold it at 3k for 10 seconds? How would the bubbles be released if I put the radiator cap back on?

    • @unbeatablecarstv890
      @unbeatablecarstv890 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you do this process the air in the system will be cycled through until it reaches the top (e.g. the bleeder valve and radiator cap). So after you turn off the car and remove the bleeder valve and radiator cap you will not see coolant and you will need to fill it back up (do it several times until it's full of coolant when you open it). If you run the car with the bleeder valve and radiator cap off the air will push the coolant out all over your engine bay.

    • @unbeatablecarstv890
      @unbeatablecarstv890 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure the bleeder valve and radiator cap are level so that they are the highest point of the cooling system.

    • @nunyabizwacks6711
      @nunyabizwacks6711 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      you can get a thing that sits on top of where the radiator goes to catch the coolant if it overflows. Ive also never heard of bleeding a car with the radiator cap on. The air has to have somewhere to go. If the cap is on and the air is still making it out, that means there has to be an opening somewhere else, aka a hole or something.

    I'm still struggling with that problem my mechanic gave up and said he can't fix it. I already bought a vacuum system, a funnel, I changed the thermostat three times, the radiator twice, I changed the hoses according to my mechanic, he changed the water pump and it kept heating up. I noticed that the upper hoses get very hot and the one connected to the lower part of the radiator does not get as hot as the upper one, is this normal? or the water pump is not circulating the water?

    Just changed my thermostat on my 08 G35 i let it idle and it was on its way to heating up. I did not bleed it. So I’ll be trying that next. Also I’m pretty sure I have a leak in my lower hose. Some of the coolant I put in came out the second time I started the car. But didn’t leak on the first start up. Any reason that is? Also do I have to jack the car up in order to bleed or can I bleed it from it’s parked position?

    My g35 overheats, I changed the thermostat and radiator but still over heats, Im not getting hot air or cold air from vents but the fans still turn on when I turn on the climate control, also it seems like Coolant doesn't seem to be reaching the heater core/bleeder value when I pore coolant into the radiator. I’ve tried to see if there could be air in the system but when I go ahead and do all the steps the coolant doesn’t seem to appear from the bleeder valve, and I mainly pore half the gallon of coolant or more but idk anyone know what the issue may be, I don’t see no slug when I check the engine oil so hopefully it’s not a blown head gasket because I’ve recently replaced the head gasket 4 months ago due to oil leaking, need help !

    • @unbeatablecarstv890
      @unbeatablecarstv890 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      First check to see if there are any leaks. If there are no leaks you need to keep doing this process in the video. You definitely have air in the system if the bleeder valve is empty. Make sure when you are doing this process the radiator cap and bleeder valve are level. When you add coolant to the g35 it's really easy to get air in it and you have to do this process. Also it will probably take 5-6 times of this process to get all the air out(it's a long process).
