I know this might be a weird question to ask, but how would you paint those trees in a night setting? as in like, the moon not shining through them, but just the borders. The reason why I ask is because I grasp the lighting enough, but most references that I find are pitch black trees.

Absolutely AMAZING ! Finding that your paints are not dulling ! I use liquitex and omg its a nightmare for the dullness ! Is that maybe because im using water ? I see you are kind of impasto painting ? Are you not using no medium ? And i too drop paintbrushes 😂 Inconveniencing on the face usually A big splat on the eyes 🤦‍♀️ But this is so stunning Well done

Thank you so much for this video! As someone who is learning to paint (watercolor) from the University of TH-cam, I've had a hard time finding the help I need with my trees. Almost all tree tutorials address leaves or bark. I badly needed someone to articulate with words and demonstrate how to create more natural looking tree trunks and branches.
