I love making videos. In case you are wondering about my accent, I'm from New Zealand 😅.
I'm Still Alive and Starfield
Greetings, it's been a while. I managed to escape from the clutches of the Master of Skyrim, Lord Todd Howard.
Now that I'm free, I'd better talk about Starfield because I heard it's the game that all the cool kids are talking about. Or at least the kids who like those sorts of games and are interested in it.
In this video I talk about Starfield's history until now and what I think about it.
Also I talk about a relatively new game and another upcoming one that I played the demo for. Exciting!

Why we can be excited for the future of Fallout

Fallout games take a long time to come out. Fallout 5 is likely many years away and Fallout 76 isn't everyone's cup of tea. Will there be a Fallout drought or will mods fill the gap until the next main game? The Starfield Delay survival guide
มุมมอง 362 ปีที่แล้ว
Starfield (and Redfall) got delayed until next year! Although this news shocks us to our very core, there are proven strategies that we can avail ourselves of in order to cope. In this video I cover 9 tips that we can employ to work through the initial stress of the news and help us look forward to the eventual real release date.
I'm not going to talk about Starfield... until
มุมมอง 712 ปีที่แล้ว
I'm not going to talk about Starfield until the release day... perhaps. Starfield is a game that is near and dear to my heart. A game that I've not seen, let alone played. I really enjoy being excited by Starfield but there is a fine line between being enthusiastic about a game and being too enthusiastic about a game. What is that line and why should I avoid crossing it? Let's talk about it.
Bethesda's History... Sort Of
มุมมอง 1542 ปีที่แล้ว
In today's episode of "What's Todd Doing?", we take a deep dive in to the lore of Bethesda Softworks and more specifically, Bethesda Game Studios and what Todd Howard has been up to all these years. Bethesda Game Studio has make big splashes in the gaming industry over it's 20 or so year lifetime. It's part of the Bethesda Softworks brand and has made a few games that people like. But using the...
The Companion Evolution
มุมมอง 332 ปีที่แล้ว
Companions have been accompanying us through our games for many years but one thing that never changes is change itself. From their humble beginnings as pack mules to critical components of storytelling, the companions have been evolving. Where are they going and what will they be like in 10, 20, 30 years time? Only time will tell.

How Factions In Starfield Could Be Fantastic
Its the original 😎
>Using the Classic Paint Job GOATED
i like it because it gives you that feel that you arent aligned with anyone like i like the other power armors but the issue is when i wear specific power armors i feel like im just identifying as a certain faction and nothing else for example t-60? I feel like I'm just pretending to be a member of the brotherhood x-01? i feel like im just pretending to be a member of the enclave raider power armor? i feel like im just pretending to be a raider t-51 makes me feel unique but also not feel weak (im looking at you t-45) thats also why i loved the t-51b in fallout 3, because nobody else uses it based on what we see
Can we get this mod on console?
I like the "Nasa Punk" concept art. This can be considered an innovation. When I play Starfield and look at the ships I feel like I'm really playing something new in its embryonic state, as art evolves at a much slower pace than any technology. Yes, the game was full of defects and technical problems, but the artistic concept was delivered, without a shadow of a doubt. Not only in ships but in almost every structure, accessories, collectibles, equipment and weapons within the game. You feel this root of reality within a space fiction game, but without taking away the "magic" and creativity of imagining a society in the future. And they do very well.
Rake time
That was great! Reminded me of the intro of my favorite 90s cartoons
Bro, what mod/paint skin are you using? I need it 😂
One shall stand one shall fall
transformers 1986 music is based af
I was about to make a comment asking if others knew the song due to that movie. Instantly thought of Optimus Prime.
The transformer references 😚👌
T-45 is a nostalgic suit for me and many others, but T-51 is Based.
もはやザクだな!😊
“Nasapunk” is complete horse shit. Starfield is generic and bland, and Bethesda has no creativity. I hate Todd Howard.
Now that the game is out, can you make a deeper analysis of this whole nasa punk aesthetic?
This comment, by Tod is now ironic how he thinks it's amazing that you can actually fly it (barely)
I see
Can take on the world in one of these
Said that they handcrafted individual locations and have a system that randomly spawns them on the different planets.
Great video homie Deffo subbed
Legend!
Tell-tale Expanse sounds good
Sounds like Korg
Glad you made it out alive!
Same here 😄
Sleek, intimidating, classy and classic all in one package. That’s why we like it
This song will echo in my head everytime I wear the t51 now. Thank you.
i got some transformers flashbacks when that music started playing
cant wait for people to start modding cyber punk stuff in too.
"We want you to make an RPG to compete with Elder Scrolls" "Ok, here's an Isometric RPG that has RTwP combat and it's based on an IP we don't own, Forgotten Realms" "What, no! I asked you to compete with Elder Scrolls. This isn't even the same genre! "
You can put T-51 infront of anything and it will look good. Want to put it infront of a burning school? Go ahead. A warzone? Yes.
Need new biscuits
I like that they gave this form a label. I was struggling trying to explain to people my favorite sci fi aesthetic. And when Tod Howard brought up the phrase: NASA-Punk, I was like: “omg of course! That’s brilliant!”
Good video man. With less than a month out for Starfield gameplay release I'm so frickin hyped to see just how much of a space pirate I can rp as
Bro this is amazing
*Sigma T-51b*
Now you must di how it feels to wear t-45
Where is the men kissing scene? I want to laugh
T-45: Old and clunky T-60: ooh big and shiney X0-1: *insert enclave music" T-51: fallout 1 and 2 nostalgia
So the T-51 is Legend, and legend never dies..
Excavator: oooh more stuff to carry Ultracite: I am death..
The T-51 is the face of Fallout.
@@Turtle_Ranger i know man But sadly t-60 is face of fallout 4 and t-45 of fallout 3
t-51 is best, change my mind.
Its candian war crime time
@@prestongarvey6418 yep... yep it is...
@@klortikterra4423 my first fallout play though i git a set of T-51 and went absolute ape shit on any enemy with my fist.
I'm not going to change your mind because you're right.
Would like to see a New Vegas 2, but I found out that quite a few of the original team that worked on Fallout NV no longer work at Obsidian, and after the outer worlds released to absolute mediocrity I fear for the future of the franchise. Fallout NV is one of my favorite fallout games next to F2 and F3 and I'd hate to see a sequel botched by people who won't convey the franchise faithfully.
Does everyone in New Zealand sound like the internet historian?
Obsidian is such a great studio. I'm sad that i never appreciated KOTOR 2 or New Vegas when they initially released. They were fun but felt like 'more of the same' to me, compared to the predecessor games. But replaying those games i see how much care was put into them, especially New Vegas. Bethesda sadly ignored all the progress made in it for Fallout 4. I also forgot they made the Stick of Truth South Park game. That game was amazing and funny. I'm really excited for both Outer Worlds 2 and Avowed. :)
I'm Skeptical to say the least, particularly because of the scope- theres so many different things being combined and the randomly generated planets is a huge put off for me.
'sucking noises'
I love Obsidian, but holy hell do the fanboys never admit when Obsidian is at fault, they always have to blame others, like Bioware with KOTOR 2, and Bethesda with FNV.
good stuff, glad to find another Kiwi making good gaming vids, I'm subbed!
Good video in general, but I've never heard about Obsidian being "forcefully" bought by Microsoft and can't find any source on that.
Your my new favourite deputy
Man... The biscuits keep getting better.
This video took an unreasonably long time to make. In the meantime, Pentiment was released. Check it out! 😃
"Punk" in the 'genre-punk' context basically just means "aesthetic" particularly of some speculative technology rooted in a certain era (e.g. steampunk = speculative futurism of mid/late 1800s, dieselpunk = speculative futurism of 1920s-1940s), the one example where this is not the case is the trope originator cyberpunk where the "punk" part actually has meaning with the traditional term of rebellion and anti-establishment, grittiness etc. problem was everyone just slapped the punk part on literally every speculative tech aesthetic from then on despite the punk having no meaning but it is what it is at this point. So imo 'NASA-punk' is the superficial speculative aesthetic of current space tech, I think they're going for a veneer of hard-scifi though as we can see from some of extremely advanced tech in Starfield such as FTL and anti-gravity it is anything but hard and very much on the softer side of the scifi scale in fact, despite this the aesthetic is of a very practical and contemporary nature so I'm not sure how they're going to justify it in game hopefully it won't seem awkward. As for my ideal visual style I'd very much like to see a very slick and bubbly Y2K aesthetic in a scifi game some examples would be Xenosaga, PN03 and Space Channel 5 obviously this the polar opposite of anything Starfield is doing though lol.
