Canterbury Stour Meadows - Help us save Wincheap Water Meadows (4K) Drone Video
มุมมอง 6905 ปีที่แล้ว
I put this video together to help showcase the wonderful and tranquil Wincheap Water Meadows which are part of the broader Hambrook Marshes, but split by the Stour River. The marshes provide a fantastic retreat from the busy and noisy urban city of Canterbury, yet is less than a mile from the city's centre. This tranquil environment is made possible by limiting how close development can encroac...
Blyde River Canyon - The View From Above (4K) Drone Video
มุมมอง 3.9K5 ปีที่แล้ว
A short film I've been forgetting to get to for a number of years now. During a two week trip to the Kruger Park, South Africa in 2016, we were fortunate enough to also spend time exploring the incredible landscape of Blyde River Canyon. This video is one of my first attempts at a cinematic aerial experience, though too be honest I was very inexperience back then. Little did I know about the im...
View of Canterbury - First Flight

Re-upload of old (2015) video. Best viewed at 2K in TH-cam's settings, due to low TH-cam 1080HD bitrate. Will improve quality even on a 1080HD monitor! What equipment you on?
Thank you for this, it was lovely to watch. I visited Kruger Park a few years ago, though I never went to this part, and the fantastic colours and lighting are what I remember most and I think you captured that really well.
This helped with my geography project!
What a beautiful place. Thanks for the video.
Great video again. Some lovely shots.
Love this video. Stunning footage.
It's such a developed area I would've thought that saving a tiny bit of public space would be a no brainer.
Beautiful - just watching this video makes me feel more relaxed. These meadows are too important to covered in concrete.
Hi Jeremy. Came across your video through iKopta's #Mail. Thought you asked a very relevant question and appreciated the answer. Loved your video. Guess it was taken early morning as the light is spectacular. I am visiting South Africa in February and would like to take a DJI MP2. Can you give any advice about taking a drone through Customs, please? Did you need to obtain prior permission from the SACAA?
A great bit of filming, I miss the country and people very much having spent 17 years living and working in Jo-burg,really like the mood you captured.
Very nice. Like your pacing, which means I need to slow mine down. Thanks.
Thanks, I've started to use the tripod mode on my DJI M2P, which has helped a lot!
Despite the fact you were a relative novice at the time, impressive work Jeremy! Its always cool to have older projects like this to watch back and see how far you've progressed. I just saw your question on Ikopta :) thought I'd swing by and check this out for myself! Really like it. I'd love to visit South Africa some time - I was in Cape Town as a kid but can't really remember any of it. Keep up the good work! One thing I've been experimenting with recently to make my drone videos more cinematic is simply adding the classic black bars top and bottom - it does a lot!
Thanks, appreciated! As far as drone videography goes South Africa has some of the most incredible and varied landscapes available. I plan to visit SA again next year and will be taking my drone again.
Stunning 👏🏾
Very nice video thanks for sharing.
great video, if you like, watch my channel, I also make videos with the drone🤙
