@@SwervoABGM you just tape off the parts of the lens you don’t want black and leave a edge around the lens exposed and paint it black or silver. I think I show it a little better in my 350z lens video

@@karljay7473 hey man I really appreciate this! I have replaced a lot of this and am now replacing the injectors and the fuel pressure regulator to hope that helps. I know its old just has been suuuper frustrating cause the bottom end and top end were both rebuilt, and it ran when I bought it but has been fighting me for two years now.. But this comment helps I appreciate your advice and you watching the video! 🙌🏼

@@desixxe1878 of course not! I try and answer all my comments 😁 But from what we found it seems like too much heat is what caused the bubbling. (If you have someone helping) just have them try and slowly bend the acrylic while you or them is heating but don’t apply too much heat or have the heat gun be too close to the acrylic

@@desixxe1878 gotcha I recommend just trying again but just be cautious about the heat. Specially heat in one spot try and heat evenly throughout

@@antdog0421 we used silicone and the lenses wrap around the tail a bit to secure it more. But you can just use silicone, or a plastic welder

@@IamAdrianb no less than 2 days but could be 2-6 days just depends if you have someone to help you, the right equipment and if everything behaves like it should. You can also do this same process but mold the acrylic over the existing lenses. Is a little harder but less risky

@@alexsimon3041 don’t see why not. It’s definitely a process and is different for each light as different shapes mean more time and new challenges but I think it’s worth a shot. Essentially if you build them over your existing lens then if you can’t build them for any reason it’s no harm done

I believe it was 2” that I used! And you can find seats from UTVs for sale on fb for like $50! They arent the best of course but could work!

I’ll never understand how people like a lot of things in the car community but that’s what makes cars great is there is something for everyone and you can build your car how you want and what you personally like 👍🏽

The fuel should be good, just because we dropped the gas tank cleaned it out cleared all the lines, and fuel rail, new fuel filter, damper all that then added gas and have been trying for a few months now. Just trying everything in between haha but I appreciate the advice! Still will probably be good to try and use newer fuel again as it’s been a few months now since we emptied the tank

not injectors, but spark plugs* wet with gas. make sure you can read plugs that can help diagnosing engine problems alot.

Thanks I appreciate that! Unfortunately I have gone through testing spark, compression, fuel filter and pretty much the entire fuel system. Buuut I checked the timing chain and it did in fact jump timing so I’m currently taking everything apart to adjust the timing chain and make sure it’s where it needs to be!

I don’t know the dimensions off hand but I think I show them in the 370z lenses video I did

If we took the lens off and tried copying it using this method the lens would more than likely crack/snap during the process. If you mean why not do it to the light while the lens is still on, we did that on my buddy’s 370z there’s a video up of that. For the most part it works doing it that way too!
