When you get home from work too late to go find a beautiful landscape but the sky is too great to ignore.... On Monday night I decided to make a time lapse video of the clouds and sunset instead of trying to rush somewhere that has a good landscape view and maybe missing the sunset time frame.

One of the Kit Fox cubs has found a beetle and is being very dramatic about it! 😂 A couple of the other cubs come over to see what's going on but the first one is definitely stealing the show.

Success! I was finally able to get good video clips, in daylight, of the Kit Foxes that I've been obsessed with the last few weeks! I was even able to record several moments of nurturing from this matriarch to the young foxes. In this video she slips into the den and brings out a snack which one of the young foxes eagerly takes. Spring on the Mesa 4k time lapse in Southern Utah, USA

Springtime paints the landscape green again on Smith Mesa near Zion Nat. Park in Southern Utah, USA. Long cumulous clouds, (called street clouds because of their long strait shape) drift over the open field letting patches of warm sunshine through. The new oak leaves and grasses flutter in the north wind and the rugged cliffs of Kolob fingers and Burnt Mountain rise in the distance.
I've been waiting a long time for this.

For years I've been looking for a place where I could get trailcam videos of wild animals like mountain lions year round. I may have finally found such a place. This is the first record of one filmed 12 days after I put up a camera in this new location.
Mule Deer herd at the water hole

The first day of January 2024 a large herd of Mule Deer came by to drink at this water hole. I haven't seen much of them before or since because of the many places they can find water in this year with lots of rain and snow. However I very much enjoyed this visit they made. I hope you enjoy it too.

Mt. Kinesava sunset time lapse

I recently had the opportunity to photograph the sunset light on Mt. Kinesava in Zion National Park, Utah, USA after some heavy rains had left waterfalls in the canyons and snow on the peaks. What a wonderful way to finish a couple of days spent taking pictures in my favorite national park!

It's been a long time since I uploaded a video. But I'm finally back at it. This first one for the year is short but pretty with fresh snow and deer in thick winter coats. Enjoy this little peak into the the lives of my local mule deer.

These huge ears... 😄 But the rabbit needs them for good hearing so that it doesn't become prey. The rabbit runs very fast.
Yes, those ears are pretty cute. They do help hear danger coming. They also use the ears to help them cool off, much like African elephants do.
@@zenphotojourney Fennec foxes are desert foxes and also have funny looking very large ears. If I remember correctly, their big ears are also for cooling in the heat. As is the case with the hare.

Having a sissy seat custom made to fit my latest ride, FLHPI- the HD p i law talk for Harley Police Interceptor. Purchased at WA Police auction & in need of passenger accomodations, but SUPER made for comfort & STICK to the road.

Incredible, this one is really big. The first time I recorded a mountain lion my heart raced, I was in the middle of the forest looking at the viewfinder of the trail camera, I was very scared, as I only had a pocket knife. Nowadays I already carry pepper spray and a compressed air horn. Here in Brazil, they are a little smaller. Carrying weapons is prohibited in Brazil, it is only allowed in shooting clubs and even then, they are very expensive. Goodbye.
I carry pepper spray, a whistle and a knife. I don't really worry about the wild animals though. It's people who I worry about. Most people are nice but you can't tell just by looking at someone so I try to be prepared.

I appreciate your ability to see the nuances and detail. These are definitely two female lions. They move their tails enough to confirm no lower dark spot which is the penile sheath on a male lion.

Great captures, I always love seeing a fawn, I hope you catch Momma Doe on camera soon that fawn should still be nursing. It was really cool to see the road runner, we don't have them in VA.
I hope to see the mom too! I don't know if a fawn that young will make it on it's own.
