I need a replacement hinge cover clip AND the horseshoe shaped attachment (the piece that has the model number printed on it) for the left side speaker do you print all those pieces?

worked like a charm. during the process I was really nervous and couldn't burn the cables and tape them together strong so one side wasn't working. But after several attempts, before building the pieces together I managed to fix it. solid tutorial

It's interesting how the failure point for the hinge is so tiny... yet so annoying to glue back on.

This is totally a lie. It never gets to the GUI interface and nothing loads as quickly as you make it look. I ran the dos prompts (took 1.5 hours) and it never gave me a password. I want my time back!!!

If you pick up a Haynes manual, they contain all the wiring diagrams. Can be easily tackled at home.

it doesnt matter if the mnt file is empty..try the media one. all you need to do is get to the windows folder so you can get inside the system 32 folder and change the exe files. You also dont have to use ophcrack, like he said any linux bootable will work...try SLAX and remember the files to change..
