GREAT VIDEO.
I love sailing here Great junior sailing program
God Bless them and my mother who is 81!
I would love to find Mr. Smith! Best Teacher Ever!
Hi Can u help me to find live lobsters for farming and courses in grow lobsters please
Mr. Smith was dope! He got me into Al Green, Louis Jordan, and The Beatles. I had never been exposed to that kinda music before and he would play it while we worked everyday. Everytime I hear Let's Stay Together I can see the classroom....like down to the tan linoleum tiles. I remember the way he used to read Roal Dahl to us using voices and it's his voice that I try to replicate when I read Fantastic Mr. Fox to my son. The memories bruh! ✊🏽✊🏽
Hi Mr. Smith this Teaira Moore at Hartford
If this is the same Mr.smith I remember( its been 10 or more years since I was in elementary at Frances Starms.) he touched my life In so many ways and Ive always wanted to thank him. Very few teachers actually inspired me like him. He took us on field trips to the beach all sorts of stuff back at Frances Starms. Is he really retired?
YEs, same one, HE is retired,
Has anyone found Doug? I am looking for him too.
Enjoyed the video. Great explanation of sustainability methods in the lobster industry in Canada.
That looks like the worst way to cook clean and prepare lobster. They came out with about a 1/4 lb of meat from a 3.5 lb lobster. Wtf
Doesn't even say how long to thaw it for, thats all I wanted to know :/
Turn off caps lock and maybe you'll be taken seriously.
I was looking for this. Hey Mr. Smith. It's "red Head" the sign language teacher!!!
but it is an instant kill brains are very small, no problems
but then all of that brain will boil in the water when cooking.
Heat sanitizes bacteria.
surprised they boiled them that is a very hard kill, live lobster knife straight through the head, no pain, boiling is not they way to go now. people now realize, boiling a live lobster not humane.
Yes it is. Lobsters lack the nervous structure to process trauma the same way people do. Their mental capacity is literally that of an overgrown cockroach. Stabbing them through the head kills them instantly, and putting them face first into salted water at a rolling boil kills them within a second or so.
Amazingly, Mr. Smith is retired from MPS.
Canadian Lobsters take longer to cook than Maine ones. I have no idea why but they do.
Denser meat, larger shellfish.
What did he say he poached the lobster in? Sounded like CO QUEE O???
15 minutes for 1 pound is WAYYY too long.
Mr. Smith is no longer at Lloyd. Does anyone know where he teaches now?
did anyone else notice the sideburns : /
Chef Gordon Bailey was on Regis and Kelly on Monday.
I've watched so many videos on youtube and the only main thing these guys are missing out is the JUICE inside the lobsters, you have to suck them up, that's one of the best things in a lobster.
How wonderful and inspiring!
