    Dxs15 mk2 1399 dollars here in canada 135 spl 79 lbs Rcf 705 mk3 2100 dollars here in Canada 131spl 61 lbs My money is going to the yamaha dxs15 mk2 with that 7 year amazing guaranty and that 20 pounds Will translate to better Bass i cannot justify paying 1400 extra for that rcf double 705 mk3 instead of that double dxs15 setup. 2800 total for a brand New dual dxs15 mk2 4200 total for a brand new Dual 705mk3 setup. Sorry but Thats alot of Cash Just for lugging an Extra 40 pounds. Plus that yamaha dxs15 mk2 side by side pounds the rcf Although the rcf has a bigger voice coil 2.5 vs 3 on the rcf if im not mistaking. Wish money was not an issue my art 312-a would look best with the r f but ohhhh well

    is a new RCF 905 mk3 active subbass. Novelty. It plays very nicely but lacks power. And I don't know if it can withstand many hours of gaming because it gets warm and there is no cooling. A better bass is the Yamaha DXS 15 XLF. there is no competition here in 15 inch speakers.

    Here's another C - continuity of performance. The passive cooler on the RCF has me Convinced. My experience with active cooling is they decline in performance and increase in noise (hiss) as fans blow dust and humidity over the circuit boards.

    • @ohhenrycandybar
      @ohhenrycandybar ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Sorry on late reply on your comment from a few weeks ago. I actually just run my sub off my booth output channel, separately from my tops. I hook up the master outs to my top PA speakers left and right and run one quarter inch to XLR cable to my one RCF sub. I set the top speakers to regular full range, but turn off the "D" countour that boosts bass and highs on it, if I"m using the subs. I've always preferred the sound of the full range of the tops even if using with a sub. Since I can easily adjust the sub volume with the booth output volume knob, I can control the levels of the mix easily. I don't think this is really the typical "normal" way to do things, but I find it works pretty well and gives me more control than doing it otherwise.

    @ThunderRoadDreams 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    there is no replacement for size and weight when it comes to subs. The RCF's cabinet walls will flex if its lighter weight, you loose a a db or so due to cabinet walls flexing as the the energy is converted into movement instead of sound. The best subs are the ones where you knock on the side and you don't hear a hollow sound solid multi birch ply with tons of bracing. Manufacturers have started allowing flexing to reduce the weight. That said, the RCF is as good as it gets for that price point and weight.

      What bullshit you talking bro? The Yamaha is heavier because of the hybrid bandpass design.. It does use more wood in it's construction. You also have to factor in what drivers are being used. Ferrite or neodymium? Class A/B or class D amplifier?

    Not true about the cross cut to regular fade. They did not build it in but you can set a curve in the right Chanel 4 or 1. Once the curve is set, u can mix house or hip hop for cut DJs. See how to set curve 4 DDJ1000SRT!!!!

Great comment about the beat effects and not reading the bpm of the song because it’s programmed scale is 80 bpm and higher

      @RichRoyaltyOfficial I use a Mid-2013 MacBook Air. It s fully loaded (for the time). I7 processor with 8 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. I also use an external 1 GB SSD for video mixing. The Air handles Serato, Serato Video and even some NDI processing for streaming. I also run soundswitch simultaneous for lighting. No issues pushing it with all of that load.

    I'm a Drum n Bass DJ. I use four channels in all of my mixes. Mostly because I hold my mixes for multiple minutes at a time, and I also use a lot of double and triple drops. So four channels is a must for my DJ sets. This looks like the perfect controller for me.

    • @djmistap5979

      No reverse switch. To Hamster scratch you would assign each channel to opposite side of the crossfader. Not optimal if you switch back to upfaders, but if you exclusively hamster scratch, it will work
