Well, these 2 guys are very nice. BUT, a version of Double Shot was released in 1966 before the Swingin' Medallions version. It was done by the K-Otics from Tallassee, Alabama. The lead line was played on a guitar by their guitar player, Marvin Taylor. The bass was played by Ray Goss. Both those guys are still playing, in public, somewhere. The vocalist, Tommy Mann, is still singing, at home, somewhere.

Some Girls was their best 🎸 album. Far Away Eyes was a great song from Some Girls.

This is one of the few Bo Diddley instructional videos that is truly authentic because it shows that Bo always played in open tuning. Aside from the original recording, my favorite version of Road Runner is from the Bo Diddley’s Beach Party live album.
