Yeah bro, it has def taken a step backwards in that department since the PS5 update but I think BI are really showing they want to listen and implement improvements. I think a lot of people do not understand how much work game dev is and their expectations are unrealistic.

Thermals are expensive, quite rare on individual personnel, mostly installed in vehicles. absolute majority of NVGs will have green or blue color just like in the video.

Infrared night vision sucks because in order to see you have to shine a giant flashlight that everyone else can see

@@TurmIII I think he's talking about thermal vision, but yeah IR nightvision is the cheap stuff you have on security cameras or NVG's from Temu. They have thermal hybrid optics that mix the best of nightvision and thermal into one package these days though, you should check that out if you have a spare 20k laying around.

No, if you join a server it will automatically load the mods that the server is running, if you do not have the mods it will download them and if you join an official server it will disable all mods. There are a few more guns than that in vanilla bit yeah the m16 was the standard issue rifle for the U.S during the cold war era which the game is set in. I personally play modded servers with dozens of modern weapons. Try W.C.S or Darkgru servers if you are in the northern hemishere or TPM server if you are in Oceania. Hope this helps.

You can also go into the mod manager and load up whatever mods you like and play single player
