hi. I have a 2015 Golf with a 7-speed DSG. Every time I drive on a bumpy road, it either downshifts or stays in the same gear, causing high RPM. Is it possible to configure this in OBDeleven?

Been sitting for nearly 10mins also didn't get confirmation of procedure ended. Maybe I missed that part, but the car has to be running. After that the clunking took place and got procedure completed

Does the engine should be on as well or just the ignition?

Looks like you need the PRO version of OBD eleven to do this. Just tried on basic and instantly pops up "upgrade" on that screen. Just an FYI for anyone looking... '17 Alltrack

Yeah this bullshit don't work... Mine says function not available... I even tried in basic settings.. When I select d s g adaptation it tells me function not available....

How I can do it on my Audi a6 c7 allroad iPhone, but I have only free account now but If I need credit I will buy but show me what I must do ?

Thanks for the video. I tried this on my 2016 RS3. I had a similar issue where it finished the reset but was stuck in the reset screen. So I had to force the stop. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong. There doesn’t seem to be too much info out there.

I saw you responded to a comment a few months ago on your other video you had pre downpipe. You've kinda answered these but I'm hoping you might be willing to clarify as best as you can seeing as this was 7yrs ago lol. As far as the drone was this in like highway cruising rpm range? (2.5~3.5k rpm)? Was it negligible if you just threw on some music or would it still pierce through? I know you said it was more on the tame edge of drone, but did it still drone in that it was the type of frequency that got into your head like a v8 with an exhaust would or was it more a background frequency/exhaust sound that appeared when cruising? Regardless of if you answer I appreciate you posting these videos and the information you provided in the comments!

ik this vid is a bit old, but did you have to take it to an exhaust shop to get it installed? if not, how did you deal with the stock resonator's inlet/outlet being offset?

What version of OBDeleven apps are you using?

Worked perfectly for my 2017 Golf R. The car had been really hesitant to downshift lately and shifts were sometimes slow/hard. Feels normal again now - hopefully it lasts. Thanks!

I just deleted the resonator and the volume is perfect but it sounds too raspy, whiny... I need a bit of a wider and deeper tone. This appears to be what I need, or the ultra quiet vibrant resonator.

Not many people with only a vibrant resonator on TH-cam so I thought i would chip in my experience with it. Just got this setup. It's the perfect sound for DSG. The car sounds a tad bit louder on full load but the biggest difference is that dsg burps are very pronounced under full load dsg upshift at 4k (2-3x louder). It retains its stock volume under zero load. Accelerating normally, you can hear a little bit of the growl like many resonator delete setups if you're into that. Zero drone (Just like stock volume on the highway between 2-3k), One thing I wish it had was a louder downshift. When you rev it to 4k in neutral, there's a very obvious gurgle. (If you want more of this, read last paragraph.) You know how some cars sound faster than they are with louder exhausts? I think this setup is the perfect volume for the GTI without being over the top loud. It's hard to hear in videos but I recommend it with a stage 1 uni/apr tune. Grab an OPEN air intake so you get pronounced turbo spools. Don't get the apr carbonio if you're looking for turbo sound. it's hard to hear inside your car. (maybe a small hiss but hardly any blow off. Get any open air intake for a nice whip sound blow off) I asked the mechanic to just attach the vibrant resonator without the rear muffler attached to get an idea of how the suitcase muffler delete would sound like. It will make gurgles and a couple crackles if you add enough gas. Much deeper and hum'ish burp. There's another guy on TH-cam that has the setup. I personally think it's a bit too loud for a GTI. I don't like my cars sounding louder than they should performance-wise. (Get a Downpipe like Zak if you want volume and performance!)

Thanks for the comments. It sounds a lot louder now that I have come down in elevation. Car now has ST Coilovers, and Klutch SL14s.

Vibrant 3" bottle style resonator I believe. And yes, where the OEM resonator is. There is only one OEM resonator, I'm referring to the cylinder, not the suitcase.

The resonator is the one more towards the front correct? Which model part# resonator did you use? Is it the ultra quite or just regular? Also did you place it in the same spot as the old resonator? I have a catless gli did a res delete sounded like a mexican honda lol so now I put it back on.

They're overlays. They came on the car when I got it but yeah, jut overlays. IMO that's the way to go you can pull them off if you get a fix it ticket.
