In today’s video, I’m experimenting with two of my favorite plants: the stunning Philodendron White Princess and the striking Philodendron Pink Princess. I’m combining these beauties to see how they’ll grow together and what unique look we can create. Will we get a blend of white and pink variegation, or will one dominate the other? Like to see updates on your combined Philodendrons. I have Philodendrons El Choco Red, Micans, Verrucosums and Camposportoanums in the same pot looking like a Jungle in my Junegle. El Choco is blooming. Absolutely Gorgeous. Lechuza Pot.I have aroid mix but I added pumice and olde school soil about a cup on the roots. 👍🏾Video. 🪴Happy Planting🌿

Where did you find the larger nursery pot? I have one that needs a reply but the pot I got from Lowes is definitely too big. I love this plant.

Hi Shawn, greetings from the sunny Caribbean, I've "liked" your video and "subscribed" to your channel; however, I could hardly hear what you were saying much; and no, it was not the audio on my computer because when I checked it, the volume control was up to the maximum -- 100% where I always keep it so too was the the volume control on the actual video -- that was at the maximum as well. So it seems your recording level was low. But I'll keep checking out your videos. Peace and Blessings to you and all those whom you love. Take good care of yourself.

Ace Hardware's pot are pricey but great quality. Perlite miracle gro 🎉 Share the recipe....i use leaf shine a lot
Neem oil, peppermints soap by dr. Bronner’s and water. 3/4 water and add your neem oil and soap both equal parts. It’s nothing wrong with the leaf shine. That was my go too and I still keep a bottle around just to have but to really stretch the dollar making your own is better. I’ve bought those two items like 2 years ago and still have yet to replace anytime soon.

That could have stayed in that pot for another year. Monstera like to be root bound. you shouldn't really repot it until there's very little soil left in the pot. orchid pots are great for monstera too.
Absolutely agree. I wanted to ensure I didn’t have root rot as well. If I’m really being honest I just wanted to get in there and change the pot because it didn’t have any drainage. I been just risking it for almost two years and I didn’t want to no more. I also want more plants too😅. Honestly I think the majority of plants love that cozy tight feeling when indoors.
Just reported all my propagation of this plant, ended up with 6 pots, Going almost soil less.

I repot all year when needed. My home temperature is comfortable all year. 👍🏾Video. Besides when do Jungle Plants go dormant 🤔 My Snakeplants was grew during the winter 2023. They’re my only plants that go dormant. 🪴Happy Planting🌿

This is CRAZY. Using electricity to grow them when u could just garden OUTSIDE, also the bugs must be crazy unless u only grow hydroponically and bottle feed. Do your thing tho bro but i don't get it for these plants 🤷🏾♂️👊🏽
@@MaxPainMSF oh outside is the move for sure. I have a garden outside as well not as much as I keep in here. I live on the east cost with seasonal changes so after late September early October it’s a wrap weather wise for most of my outdoor garden. Most of the plants I keep in here are philodendrons and they prefer a dry soil so no major bug issues however fungus gnats, mealybugs, and thrips are the ones that are hard to avoid. Still no bug issues that will come out the room you know. Do you have a garden? If so what you keep?
@@growingwithshawn I do, 420 plants so I understand about the fungus gnats etc. I enjoy your content thi bro it's just my power bill is high but your not using as much lighting as me, it was more the bug issues I was worried you would have. Have you tried bottom watering?? I'm sure you know what your doing. 🙏🏾👊🏽🌱
@@MaxPainMSF I’ve tried bottom watering it’s just my mind be so busy that I’ve forgotten a couple of plants in the tray. I really would like to have a sink in here. I’m so clumsy with water though. This month though was the highest my light bill has ever been. Usually it runs me between 2-300 and that’s really pushing it. This month it was 450. I don’t know if it’s because the air or what but that was crazy. When they legalized it here and hate my next goal
Don't mean to fill up your box with comments. But would like to add this 🔮 Moved in this home 2 yrs ago April. First year was hell. I ran humidifiers and dehumidifier, used reverse osmosis water from dehumidifier to water plants, fans, grow lights and had growing pain issues. Now, hallelujah 🙌🏾 Jesus take the wheel. I mean, He took it. The dehumidifier stopped working after a yr. Started with tap water stored. No longer use humidifiers, dehumidifier, pebble trays, nada. Hallelujah 🎉🤔only thing i can figure out is with the quantity of plants, the whole plant room is a greenhouse. 🪄🔮
@@serenitygardenaviary man please continue to fill up the comments lol. Seriously. This is how I learn. I don’t know it all and being here these couple of months have taught me some things. I stoped running my humidifiers in like Feb and they seem to be doing great. I still run the one in the inside of the miniature greenhouse but other than that. It’s doing great in its own. Jesus is definitely driving in the room. I’m glad because it gets messy and tiresome filling it up. Oh you ran the whole 9 yards. Your window though.. is everything.
