@@renem.9061 Wooden walls take fire damage which means that if you used wooden walls only, they would drop to 0 hit points quickly meaning they would no longer block path to the moonstone from other sides, increasing chances for mobs to destroy the event.

@@BlackDicey That is why I said "no skills" in the title. On my channel I just play Willow because I like her as a character, and until frostjaw update she didn't have much going on. The only time I don't pick willow in my videos is if fire damage is involved in which case I pick Wilson.

Truthfully this boss isn't super hard as long as you're being patient and avoiding his attacks. But thank you :D

You need to move for some time to start slipping on icy floor. I didn't move much here. Also the faster you are, the less you need to walk to start slipping. Here I used 0 speed buffs so it takes me longer to start slipping. Hopefully I explained what you were curious about.

@@fixwesker3391 The key in most fights is sanity. Shadow creatures during a bossfight even as simple as deerclops is super annoying

The only way to dodge laser is to walk away in straight line since boss tracks your position at all times until he fires the laser, and when he does fire it, the speed of the laser is almost instantaneous.

Ignore my first answer I didn't notice the part where you said "klaus didn't spawn next to road". Anyhow, if you're using my strat to avoid spell damage, even a simple walking cane can make the fight a breeze compared to 0 speed boosts fight. However cane + mag definitely will give you leniency in timing! Although cobblestone roads aren't that hard to prepare, if for whatever reason you couldn't prepare them, I got you :D Thank you for watching and enjoying my content, much appreciated!

So far I only have one guide type video and this isn't the one. Most of my videos are just fighting the boss damageless. I'm not really expecting people to no hit the boss just because I did it, especially not this one. Trust me his shoulder bash is painful to avoid sometimes.

The point of this video was to showcase unique strategies to defend the moon stone event. While none of them are ideal considering there is always a weakness of sort, I didn't see anyone use strategies similar to these ones, as most strategies aim to block the passage to the event or like you said "bug it out". It's all about a personal preference in the end so if you don't like these methods it's alright. There are plenty of other methods anyway :D

It's not needless, it's to clear the junk around the arena. If you pick it manually, you can get jumped by a spider or a catcoon and that you will not avoid.

You're missing the point here but whatever... Since everybody uses animation cancel nowadays, you're awkward for not using it I guess.

If you paid A LITTLE bit of attention you can see hunger indeed went a little down. If you have skill issue it does not specifically mean everyone has skill issue

@@nightrider7036 Of course you can! Nightmare werepig and scrappy werepig take shifts of 10 days after killing either.

I have nothing against boss being difficult really. What I don't like is randomness of the entire fight. Like sure, you know his attacks and you know how to respond to them but even so timing in this fight seems like a variable and doesn't feel constant at all. Now of course if you're not trying your hardest to avoid taking damage, sure fight is fun and enjoyable. However the fact that his shoulder bash is straight up unfair at times is inexcusable. That is my only major complaint about this boss. That being said, I really am glad that unlike me people enjoy this boss and find it cool. It's okay to disagree and I'm happy that I'm in the minority because this boss is very unique all things considered! Anyhow, thank you for watching :)

@@moat_n_coat im all for bosses being hard if anything I was complaining when in the beta crystal deerclops was as easy as he was and in my opinion the randomness in his attacks is good... Well obviously when you try to do it hitless that can get frustrating so it makes sense why you didn't like him

The only thing I can say is this: When nightmare werepig was first released I really liked the boss. Not only is he simple to learn for both new and experienced players, but his fight is designed to encourage dodging his attacks whether you're going for hitless or not, and it works just fine. Scrappy werepig's design is basically using environmental junk to block his attacks, and it would've been okay if he behaved like he's supposed to. He isn't the first boss that was intended to be defeated using his arena to your advantage as ancient guardian also exists. The only difference is that ancient guardian doesn't play dirty and he behaves like he's supposed to. Same can not be said for scrappy werepig however. His shoulder bash in particular is super random and it doesn't always behave the way it was supposed to behave. Many times I've had him ignore obstacles and charging towards me or chasing me and starting the shoulder bash attack from distance where it's literally impossible to avoid or use junk to barricade it. His bat attack and laser attack are completely fine however, the main reason this boss is super annoying is his difficult to predict/avoid shoulder bash attack. Needless to say this fight feels the exact opposite of nightmare werepig as it to a degree encourages tanking due to his weapons breaking when they hit something and his shoulder attack being complete nonsense. This is one of the very few bosses which I'd rather tank than try to avoid because the difference in difficulty is dramatic. I know I said a lot and I know this won't change yours or anyone else's opinion, however that was never the point. I really wanted to enjoy this boss but I just couldn't, and I honestly can't recall any other boss being THIS annoying to fight if you're trying to avoid his attacks. Thank you, for taking your time to read this, and once again, I'm glad that, unlike me, you and everyone else here got to enjoy this boss the way I couldn't. The most important thing is to have fun after all :D

@@moat_n_coat well it's good that he is a different fight otherwise it would just feel like they are just reskining the same fight just for the sake of more content Each fight in this game feels completely unique from one another which is a great thing in my opinion cause let's be honest all the old bosses "deerclops, bearger, tree guards etc" all felt so similar to one another which felt kinda repetitive in the long run... So putting a completely unique gimmick, mechanic or attack type on each boss is a great thing... But well there will always be downsides and in this case is that some bosses will simply not be liked by everyone and in your case you didn't like this one

@@dragonslayer3552 I understand what are you trying to say. I do like unique bosses and I like the concept and design of the scrappy werepig. And I totally can understand that not everyone is going to like the same bosses I do. I do understand all of that. However, what I don't like is when that design doesn't work as intended and just straight up breaks the rules it was supposed to follow. Like imagine you fight shadow pieces and when you spawn them they all turn lvl 3 instead of leveling based on how many have you killed so far, but when you try it again they level up as per usual. It's not something that adds to the difficulty in a fun way, it's just an annoying shenanigan that may or may not happen. Hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say.

SO TRUE! Just in case someone unironically tries this, both of these bosses prioritize player so making them fight would be painful process.
