    Nonsense. Can’t wait till we get over these primitive beliefs. Poor kid, I used to be just like him except Catholic. Maybe there isn’t a church for you, and maybe that is just fine.

      If there is a problem with our institutions; then we have a duty to fix them. Since the West has turned secular we have seen male suicides and depressions skyrocket, a pornography addiction epidemic, and words such as ‘marriage’ and ‘gender’ have lost all meaning. If you genuinely think society will improve by continuing to abandon religion, you are wrong. Even Richard Dawkins, the face of the new atheist movement who pushed this idea, has expressed remorse and regret over it. History shows us that a healthy religious life is necessary for any society to function(take the 1st Great Awakening vs the French Revolution, the Weimar Republic, the Nazis or the USSR for example. Nazism was influenced by Nietzsche and both Engels n Marx admitted that Communism was influenced by Darwin and that they totally hated Christianity).

    Jesus said if you loved me you would follow my commandments. Great video! I truly believe once we're born again and then continue to sin that would be committing the unforgivable sin, only the saved can commit that sin and it can take a lifetime but sin distances us from God, don't run from God but rather run to him. His forgiveness is beyond my comprehension. God is good🙏🇬🇧

    • @jessebrill145
      @jessebrill145 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Please do not preach this "unforgivable sin" stance of yours. Believing a saved man who repeatedly sins is no longer saved means you believe the power of sin trumps the power of the sacrifice of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ for our sins. If you are saved, you are saved, but it does not mean you will never consciously sin again. It does mean you need to have it in your heart to ask for forgiveness/repent and to continue to improve yourself to be as Christ-like as possible.

    • @TheProgressingPilgrim

      @@lordchristsavedus3590 I disagree with you(tho it’s plenty possible I may be wrong and you right). It’s one of the things the Bible’s vague on. However I think we can both agree that the consequences of continuing in sin only lead to death, pain and destruction, whether in this life or the next. The wages of sin is death after all, it destroys our relationships, it destroys our health(both physical and mental). Under the eternal security view there are only 2 options for someone who continues in sin after getting saved(either they weren’t saved to begin with, or they will die before their time in order that they may cease sinning) and both are horrifying. And as you said, many christians believe that it means losing salvation. Which is equally if not more horrifying. All the more reason we need to hold fast to the Lord, and encourage others to do so. In Him we have goodness and life.

    • @TheProgressingPilgrim
      @TheProgressingPilgrim หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jessebrill145 I agree that no one can take us out of His hands, altho Hebrews does seem to kinda push both views if I’m being honest. This said, playing with sin is still playing with fire-hellfire to be exact. It’s been said that the #1 thing lacking in the church today is discipleship. Cheap grace and antinomianism have crippled the church’s influence in society. All the more reason we need to preach the Gospel and stand firm in the faith. Not just for our own sakes but for those around us-as Christ has reconciled us and given us a ministry of reconciliation.

    • @lordchristsavedus3590
      @lordchristsavedus3590 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jessebrill145 it's not a stance brother, it's the truth. Please listen to the points he makes in this video, listen to the verses he talk of. I'm not saying you just commit the unforgivable sin then it's over, no but rather it takes an entire lifetime to commit this sin, the more you remain in your sin the further you push yourself from our Lord. The Bible explicitly talks about satan leading the very elect astray, that many believed they were saved but they didn't truly know Jesus and followed him. This once saved always saved is a protestant stance created only a few years ago, the Word of God is explicit about such people.

    • @jessebrill145
      @jessebrill145 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@lordchristsavedus3590 "Once saved always saved" is not what I said. I said "if you're saved, you're saved". Slightly different wording with much different meaning. You still must have an active faith and relationship with the Lord, doesn't mean you won't sin. In addition, you are making up your own parameters for sins here. You can't gradually commit a sin, you either commit it or you don't. There is not a bank of your actions that add up to a sin. Each action in and of itself determined off of your intent is either sin or it isn't. Likewise there isn't a bank of your sins racking up against you. A man who has sinned 500 times is not worse than a man who has sinned 5 times in the eyes of God. All who are guilty of sin are deserving of the same punishment. The meaning of the Verse 26 warns that deliberate, ongoing sin after knowing the truth shows contempt for Christ’s sacrifice. It’s not about occasional sin or struggles, but a willful rejection of Jesus’ atonement. Such rebellion leaves no other means of salvation because Christ is the only way. This underscores the gravity of apostasy-turning away from faith after embracing it. Hebrews 10 highlights Christ’s perfect work and calls believers to faithfulness. Verse 26 is a solemn reminder to take sin and salvation seriously. It’s not meant to make believers live in fear of losing salvation but to encourage repentance and reliance on Christ’s grace.

    I mispronounced the verse at the start. Just noticed it now. Sorry for that. We are saved BY GRACE THRU FAITH. And that Grace is what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross and His resurrection 3 days later. To quote Acts 16, Believe in the Lord Jesus and be saved. To say that man could find faith on his own is a heresy known as pelagianism that I strongly condemn. Salvation comes from God alone

      Luther never intended to form his own church, he was a REFORMER of the true church, the Roman CATHOLIC church. It was never his intention to cause a schism within western Christianity, however heretics took advantage of his attempts to reform the church in order to break away from the church founded by Christ and create their own false churches.

      William Tyndale translated most of the Bible into English from Greek and Latin in the early 1500s. Most English Bibles we use today come from Tyndale’s work in some way. But before him a guy named John Wycliffe translated it from Latin to English in the late 1300s. Before then the Bible was primarily read in Latin, Greek and Aramaic. Which is still done by many Christians in certain parts of the world.
