Geology Guy
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 19 พ.ค. 2018
While I'm not currently employed in any sort of geology career, I still want to use my education to share my passion for geology. So I'm starting a TH-cam channel called Geology Guy. My goal is to make geology interesting, fun, and understandable for ALL. I hope to someday make it to the level of Smarter Everyday, Physics Girl, or minutephysics. For now though, my videos are pretty low-budget. I appreciate all the support I can get to make this a successful avenue for geological learning.
Let me know what you'd like to see. You can also find me on Facebook and Instagram.
Hope to see you soon. And remember: geology is more than just rocks!

Not all magmas are the same. Through the processes of Partial Melting and Fractional Crystallization, magma originating in the mantle evolves in its mineral composition.
Igneous Textures

Why geology? Why do we care about the past? Isn't geology just looking at rocks?

This is the first in a series of videos for my Geology 101 class. I will be more-or-less following a textbook/lab manual called Earth Lab for the series.
