You really should be rinsing out the media in the tank water, so as not to lose your good bacteria in the media. That seems to be the rule I always come across

Hi I had the same cannister filters... Your media trays are in the wrong order It should be starting@from the bottem upwards.... Mechanical Filtration(consisting of course meduim and fine sponges 2.Tray should be Biological media for benefical bacteria 3.Tray is for Chemical or if you dont want it should be again for biological media If you have a 4 you can add chemical for extra water polishing or if you have some fish tank smells...... or just again biological media......

hello. cool vid of clouds. I have 2 videos like this if you would like to see them. I live in Hawaii and we get some incredible sunsets and sunrises. 1 video is at sunset that is unbelievable and 1 is at sunrise with weird cloud formations and the color of fire. Watch closely and the color actually fluctuates like the clouds are on fire.

School boy error washing your media in tap water. You should be washing your media in water taken from the tank to minimise loss of bacteria.

I like your tetra community tank. Hikari Vibra Bites are great. I bought some recently and just fed them to my fish for the first time and they seemed to really like it. I also hear that some fish who ordinarily will only eat live or frozen foods will eat Vibra Bites as they resemble blood worms as you mentioned.
