My dream car I’m torn on what year. I love the 2004 cl55 AMG. That beautiful supercharger is music to my ears… the second gen with the N.A. 6.3 sounds the best overall… and then the later ones with the twin turbo…. What one do you recommend for a handy guy I can do a lot on my own and my father is a mechanic of 40+ years if need be him yelling at me the whole time. Thanks

I own one on my CL500 2009 it has about 90k miles on it and I must say everything on this engine is easy, easy to maintain easy to replace easy to fix…. Super reliable so far I am considering to replace the chain tensioner soon as I get some noise at cold start coming from the chain but quite lightly…

Super Shop. Super nice people. These guys know their stuff.

Audio trick. Place a -3db limiter on ur audio tracks and then push them into it. Boom all will be level and even. DONT use a compressor as they are only to be used on clean audio and will greatly amplify the background noise. I’m glad Ed drives crappy cars as I found you guys Hahahaha.

Hi Team - just doing my W211 M113k now - just about to get the front timing cover off. I've kept mine in the car and removed the whole front end. So just lifting the engine from the supercharger. Just wondering if you replaced the guides and/or chain? My engines thankfully very clean so hoping to keep the same chain etc.

Sounds low on transmission fluid / fluid isn’t reaching the input bearing

Why is it taking so long to fix these? When I took my ford to the dealership for a blown engine they rebuilt the whole thing in less than a week. The three times it’s been back in for new transmissions it took less than 3 days each time.
