I think Xerri will now be the most popular pick at no.1 in drafts, to go along with a massive ownership of 54.1% in Classic and that could continue to rise as more people sign up

Ahaha yeah it was a shame I recorded this before the Marshall injury. I would have Xerri ranked no.1 and Gawn no.2. For Marshall in draft, I think he will now be slipping into the 2nd or 3rd round because of the injury worry and Harry Boyd

Yep its definitely an option. Most people will go Xerri now, with one of TDK, Darcy and Sweet to fill the other spot. The others could be a Gawn, English, Flynn, Briggs, etc. I’m keen to watch Sweet in the preseason

I would likely have Josh Kelly at 31, so Will Day would be around 32-35. In Keeper, I would probably keep Caldwell and Rowell. I know Rowell doesn’t have much of an outside game, but if Gold Coast win more games, his average should go over 95. Day will be solid, but may be 90-95 average this year with the Hawks mids not scoring as much in Hokball. Any other player you could drop?

@ yeah I’m leaning that way too - a shame because I see a world where Day matures and reaches a higher ceiling than Rowell, but it’s risky. No other mids to drop sadly: 5 mid side so likely keeping Anderson, Warner, McCluggage, Caldwell, and Rowell. Thanks though mate!

Yeah Bolton is a watch during pre season. I have heard that in match sim at training he has been more deep forward which isn’t what we want, Still a watch, but looking unlikely for me to start him at this stage.

I think Lairdy goes 95+ at half back, with the ability to go 100+ in that role. Will be interesting with Cumming (if he plays half back) and Milera back there. Wouldn’t start him in Classic and would wait till after Round 6 DPP’s, but could be a good pick in Draft.

Yeah I don’t know why it was doing that when I was recording. Audio sounds fine, just my camera went fuzzy a couple of times but hopefully the information is good enough 😂

I don’t see Merrett as a value pick in Classic. I probably wouldn’t start with him as he has that early bye. He’s a guy we will all have at some point, but an upgrade target for me. In draft, I think he’s a top 4 midfielder off the board

Yep, very unfortunate news for Nic Newman. I think Docherty does start in defence, rising his stocks as both a starting option and a top 10 defender (if he gets DPP). I also think Laird does play half back and would be a top 10 defender as well. Will be interesting to see how the Crows lineup in defence with Cumming the new addition and Milera also back.

Yep; definitely someone I’ve got on my preseason watchlist. Keen to see how much midfield time he gets with hopefully Oliver and Petracca back to 100%

I’d say at this early stage of preseason Mills (if given midfield role), Roberts, Farrell, Perryman

Rucks will be very interesting to see what people are going with throughout the preseason. I think it will vary a fair bit, along with the defence and midfield, which would make for an exciting fantasy season ahead!

Riley sanders another pick around that price that could be a possibility as well if he doesn’t get bevoed again…

Reuben Ginbey worries me a bit because I’m not sure he has the ceiling to make enough money, plus he does have a floor. If he was playing midfield I’d be more keen, but someone to watch during preseason. If Cumming is playing in defence I would much prefer him, and I don’t mind doubling up on him and Peatling if both look like good options.

I’m still on the set and forget train. Still open to the likes of TDK, Darcy and Flynn but would need to see a fair bit for me to move Marshall or Xerri out of my team.
