Steel Challenge Match June 2023

Steel Challenge at DCPA June 2023 - Forgot to turn the camera on for one stage and on the last PCCO stage it was so humid they were foggy, so I pulled them down a little and you don’t see the targets.
Barricade Drill 20230218
มุมมอง 51ปีที่แล้ว
Nic and I running a barricade drill at 10 yds. Nic: P365XL, Me: Custom P365XL, Custom 9mm PCC. Great drill to test and assess movement, drawing, magazine change, multiple targets, etc. We started out a little slow, as you see, but really picked up by the end.
I looked at one pretty seriously and couldn’t get past the looks. I wound up buying the last model year R230 instead (2012).
Looks are subjective, the late R230 are a solid choice, still look current and stylish.
Thanks for sharing video!
This is such a neat match.
They really outdid themselves with the props for the stages.
@@edwardcovelli4751 I just like the concept of an EDC-focused match with divisions that reflect modern EDC gear. PCSL has a provisional ACP division for their 1-gun matches and I can't wait to try it out.
Great video! So glad you came to the match. It was a great time
What button?
Press and hold the unlock of the key fob when you are outside the car.
What a car! Great review! I'm lookin at buying a 2015 for $46k with 22k miles. Never thought about a Mercedes (as I've been more of a Porsche, Range Rover Sport & Dodge Ram guy), but kinda wanting a convertible again, bigger than the Porsche Carrera I had)
I have a 2014 for 5 1/2 years. Every time I think about getting something newer, I realize that I love this car and I would have to spend 3x the money for a true upgrade. Look great, run great, no mechanical issues. I did have to replace the turbo seals this year, but thats maintenance, not a fail. Interior is another issue. The metal buttons on the console are starting to wear. The center console spring loaded gear broke, so I have to open it manually, and occasionally the driver seat massage leaks. None of theses are major issues or crazy fixes, but they did occur.
@@edwardcovelli4751 thank you for all the info! Torn between a few different vehicles, but this one just seems like a lot of bang for the buck!
@@j.jmcquade5278 You're welcome. I drove a lot of cars and this one put the biggest smile on my face, well, after the Ferrari 488, so I got it. Holding out for the Ferrari.
@@edwardcovelli4751 try a SL63, I had a 2018 for 2 years sold when covid hit... I loved that car... I took it to the drag strip and ran a low of 11.46 at 126 mph..
Amazing car! I have driven it! It’s unbelievable.
Why Audi design wheels on Mercedes .
The original owner paid $2,000 for the sport wheel package which replaced the standard 19" wheels with these 18" wheels. They are OEM Mercedes and I believe the size is specific to MB. Maybe a designer at MB saw some Audi wheels and came up with these.
What are you using to get all of the GPS and G-force info? Looks pretty nifty!
An iPhone app called TrackAddict, free but worth the $10 premium upgrade
Well done brother! Fees like I was there again!
