Eh, you can do this with just about anyone, thracia has low bases and scrolls. I like to do this with Ronan since he has a huge magic growth and 3 movement stars and has adept, all he needs is a str scroll to match and surpass most units.

Actually, the story improves substantially. There were a lot of weird things on Mystey, such as Marth not knowing Anri's story. It makes a thousand times more sense that Kris is the ignorant on that subject.
