    Fantastic video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

    So it appears the only part of the game you can do on the 7-day free trial is the intro. Once you actually get to the airport, you cannot advance whatsoever, all you can do is talk to a few people and you can't go through customs. There's no pet battle to be had, there's nothing. Pretty pathetic "trial" version. Why would I spend so much money on a game that doesn't even give me a real trial, and I'm not really learning anything in the trial? The activities you do in the intro don't really teach you anything... it might as well be flashcards.

    • @Aprinsa
      @Aprinsa ปีที่แล้ว

      Nevermind, it looks like it was a bug. I had to reload the game. Well, I'm also not inclined to drop that much money on a game that has a very frustrating and confusing bug in the very beginning. Like I just wasted a bunch of time trying to figure out what I could do. Not an efficient use of language learning time! Considering this game is 3 years old, I'm really not impressed.

    • @Aprinsa
      @Aprinsa ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, NOW I think I've explored all I can without paying. This game is really inefficient. Why am I fishing *in English* if this game is about Chinese? The live opponents don't seem real... or they are really bad because the game doesn't teach them anything before going into "battle." Lots of little things cannot be done more than once every 4-8 hours, like eating a steamed bun or any other snack. Have to catch a zillion fish to get 100 coins while learning nothing in an unwieldy system? No, thanks. And I spent forever trying to find the welcome ceremony for the championship, but it seems that's only available for paying members as I couldn't find it anywhere.

      I’d recommend The HSK Standard textbook and workbook collection. Although the book mainly focuses on preparing one for the HSK exams, I’ll still recommend it those who aren’t planning on taking the HSK exam because I believe you would be aware of the common words and grammar that a person taking the Chinese proficiency test should know. Although, other textbooks will eventually teach you these words and grammar points but it is easier with a book that focuses on HSK proficiency test. I’m currently using the HSK collection alongside Chinese Zero to Hero course because I believe it will help me learn better. For me, I learn much better when things are explained to me than just reading and also it saves me time on researching grammar points.

Yeah, try the free lesson and see if it is something you like. And you can also try to enter for a chance to win a one month membership, and if you win that gives you a better chance to gauge whether the app is right for you.. One thing I'd say is that Super Chinese, Chinese Skill, LingoDeer, and Hello Chinese all have the idea of giving the learner a fun interactive experience of learning Chinese, however they also have features that makes it different from one another, so it's left to the learner to choose which one they like best.

    I started learning Chinese just for fun at school, they offered an after school club :) I really enjoyed it, so much more interesting than other languages I had learnt! Then I kinda forgot about it for a few years but then during university I was offered a scholarship by the British council to study in China for a year, which just sounded like too good an opportunity to miss! So that's probably when I really started seriously learning Chinese, as we had 20 hours of classes per week and could be really immersed in the language. I absolutely fell in love with China, the language is just so fascinating to learn and I really enjoy traveling there and exploring the culture :) I've kept up my Chinese since by visiting every year, taking evening and online classes, and keeping in touch with Chinese friends. I also recently discovered SuperChinese and really love it, so it would be amazing to win a free month subscription!

      katherine leal Hahaha I know it does sound like it but I’m not 😄 I was trying to use chinese filler words such as ”那nà 那个nèige” which is equivalent to umm in English. But I try to avoid using it now and also since I hardly ever hear Chinese TH-camrs using this filler word in general. Thanks for the love 💕

    Really helpful advice! Thanks so much :) I’m trying to get into Chinese dramas, is there one you’d recommend?

      Cat Reynolds I’m glad you found it helpful! My favorite drama is Youth (Chinese version) it’s a college theme drama but you can learn phrases that can be use in everyday life. In general I’d recommend any drama that is like college/work theme drama. You can also watch based on your interest if you want to learn something that has to do with medicine, medical dramas. With sports, sports drama and so on
