Great tips, videos and channel! Classic Cuban film recipe is very good! 👍. One thing to note, when Clarity is set to anything other than “0”, it slows down the camera. I wonder how dramatically it changes the recipe if we change the Clarity back to 0 from -4? Thanks.

Nice review. Cool that you’re a local DMV guy (Chinatown, Shenandoah, etc.)! Are you an Eagles fan (rather than the Commanders) with the eagle light in the background? 😂. I agree with you the menu system on the x100VI is not very intuitive. One small nitpick about this camera is the build quality. The “drive/delete” and “ael/afl” silver buttons on the back seems to get scratch and silver paint rubs off easily. Have you noticed it on yours?

Your first point about shooting at f11 or f8 is spot on. Too many photographers are obsessed with shooting at 1.2, for portraits yeah ok get it but it’s nice to hear someone taking about the virtues of stopping down as a creative decision.

Jordan, I’d love to see you shoot the interior and artifacts in the Fredrick Douglass house in black & white using Ilford HP5 simulation. As a native Washingtonian now living in Florida it would be interesting to also see shots overlooking dc in b& w from the site. Also don’t forget to shoot the colorful plants and the cool glasswork at the botanical gardens. Keep up the good work. Peace and bacon grease.

Nice place there Koh Chang. It was the first island I visited back in 2017 still love the place it never gets old. A life rich in experiences here in Thailand is definitely the trade off when it comes to escaping the west for a life here in Southeast Asia
