It amazes me that so many people were able to get this camera. I have been trying tirelessly for 8 months. I never wanted to pay the extra money on eBay and support the flippers.
How do you edit the raw photos? I was thrown off when I saw RAF file and Lightroom wouldn’t let me upload. I primarily use JPEGs but just have RAWs as backup
hello! yes I had that same problem so what you need to do is open you Lightroom preferences, and check the box that says "treat JPEGS files next to files as separate photos" hope that helps!
Hey brother. If you ever wanna try the wide conversion lens on your VI, let me know. I can let you borrow it for a bit. It's just sitting on my shelf right now.
Do you ever use diffusion filters on it? It seems like everybody else uses some sort of diffusion filter, but I find a lot of them way too over the top. I like the subtle ones like a Glimmerglass 1/2, but not sure if I'd want it on the camera all the time. I'm just researching what accessories to get when my name comes up on the waiting list and I like your thoughts and images around this camera.
I have yet to use any diffusion filters but do hear a lot of people use them, maybe I'll try them in the future I'd get the thumb grip, shutter button, and the Nisi screw on filter protector then just go out and enjoy the camera, its such an amazing camera
Thanks for the reply. I’ve really enjoyed your videos on it. Yeah, the plain nisi uv filter is probably the safest bet. I do prefer the more natural look. I’m for sure getting the thumb grip, button and hand grip because I’m a giant Danish viking with huge hands hehe.
Do you ever miss using the Sony or having a different focal length? Does the camera matching in Lightroom give you a good choice of film simulations? Great vid, loving the Eagle's head in the background.
initially I thought I would miss being able to change focal lengths but I've come to find having the constrain on using only 1 focal length has helped my photography, I feel I am way more intentional with framing and getting my composition right Eagle is my favorite animal!
most of these photos were taken with Classic Cuban (Negative) I recently made a video discussing my favorite recipes, in that video I talk about Classic Cuban (Negative) here is link: th-cam.com/video/JxLOP8Le6pM/w-d-xo.html
