one more example is La La Land and Whiplash movie . They used Diegetic sound

Now 150,000 people incorrectly learned how to spell diegetic... honestly, you should at the very least add on screen corrections during the video so people know. I’d just take it down and upload a correct version because it’s pretty embarrassing.

I have to say that in spite of these shots not being theatrically shot in the contemporary style, it's still very offbeat and creepy. I'm trying to learn how to shoot the classic style.

Well um. . . . . . I guess people in the comments section understand the difference in terms but I myself still am confused not about the difference in terms because I guess the words were well explained but I guess what I'm saying is I wud not be able to watch a movie and figure out which one is which in so much as I am hearing it all so I wudnt think about oh wait only the people on screen can hear that or this so hmmm

Spelling matters, dudes. A person looking for "diegetic" or "nondiegetic" sound might not find this.

If the students get and misspell it, does it mean that they didn't really get it? BTW, thanks for this, I would love to use it with my own students!!
