I know this as pineapple casserole. It's sooo good. And you're right... it's excellent with ham. I like to leave it in the oven a little longer than instructed bc my favorite part are the extra crispy edges.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! If you put sugar in cornbread, it becomes CAKE not BREAD.
But what about adding honey to it? Then it becomes cake too haha it's fine
