I’m laughing at this. 😂Back in the 1970s my mom made this all the time but never with the nuts. So i had no idea that nuts were used! I’m now in my 60s and learned that my siblings and i hated nuts in their food! Cakes. Banana breads. Well, you know like when you were a kid you hated broccoli 🥦 yea…love it now! I love pecans in everything! I’m making this today with pecans…for the first time ever! Just wish my mom were still with us to share a cup of coffee and cake with her. 🥰Miss you Mom 😢 Oh, and my other siblings still hate nuts in their cakes and banana bread! And I’m delighted! More cake for me! 😆
