Glorious Sound Music

Glorious Sound was formed in 2012 by a small group of Seventh-day Adventist singers who were based in the small city of East London in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Their mutual interest was to encourage choir singing which was fast waning in the church. Within a short time, interest grew and the choir set up small branches in Port Elizabeth and Durban.
In its constitution, Glorious Sound’s main objectives are to: -
1.\tpromulgate the good news of salvation in song;
2.\tencourage members to be well-grounded in the rudiments of music; and
3.\tprovide music at SDA church gatherings, and other denomination as per invitation.
Currently membership stands at 60, but we operate as three regions, only gathering once or twice a year for joint performances.
The choir is currently directed by Ntsikelelo Cakata, assisted by Khaya Nunu who also doubles as an accompanist.

I am a member of the New Apostolic Church in Kissy, Freetown, Sierra Leone and I’ve been opportune to sing this anthem in a combined choir of different denominations. The way the Glorious Sound choir sang this is so sweet and excellent. I can listen to this for a thousand times. And the conductor has a positive and infectious vibe; getting the best out of the group. This was a super performance.
