House prices being so ridiculously high, and the knock on effects, is a major issue in NZ society today. The folks who benefit from over inflated house prices shouldn't be so short sighted. It may become a matter of addressing this issue in a controlled manner, rather than waiting for the bottom to fall out of the global market, (that John Key is so desperate to align with), and the prices to plummet. Then all the over stretched, greedy investors will join the debt ridden slaves, where their assets and income opportunities are dwarfed by how much they owe the bank. They really do think that, "it's not going to happen to them", and if it does, then I for one will have no sympathy for those who have created lifelong renters out of their fellow country men/women.
Let's review the last 6 years of house prices when the Greens have been involved in the Govt. Let's not forget that when Labour and the Green's took over 6 years ago house prices were at the end of the wave. Somehow Labour and the Green's defied logic and sent house prices much higher... That is extra what happens when you put fools in charge.
