My theory is that we're definitely not watching the first loop of this, theres been many marty lives already, once doc read the letter from 1955, he made sure he befriended marty then made sure he was there on that night at the mall at 1:15 am, he was urgent about it because he knew his life depended on it, thats why doc and marty hang out in the first place, doc mustve got him to hang around because of his guitar amps or gadgets but he knew he needed him, it gets creepy if it really is a time loop paradox thing. I just wonder when exactly doc read the letter and then chose to enter martys life and get him to hang around until that fateful night at the mall
