I have a f150 1995. It keep blowing the fuse in the cab to transmission. Probably a naked wire somewhere. Under the fuse looks good

hey can you remake the video and tell us more about your morning and be very detailed about what time you woke up,did you stumble to step over anything on the way to the restroom to pee,was the toilet seat closed and you had to lift the lid? did it seem like it ran longer than normal after you flushed? did you wash your hands and go make breakfast? what did you make? did it fill you up completely? hate to sound like im prying here but these are all things we need to desperately know in order to better comprehend the solution to fixing our transmission in our POS ford for $5. you say you pulled bad fuses that were unrelated which a normal person may think isnt important but you know us americans,we got all fkn day,please tell us what they went to,what caused them to blow,how did you get them out,did you use a little plastic pos fuse removal tool or did you use a quarter or plyers? we need to know these things. also please include the status of the weather,whats the temp?

Awesome video , checked the number 23 fuse it was missing ,, the local garage charged 132$ to run a scan ask us to buy a transmission and return so they could install it 🤨 15 amp fuse runs like a new truck out 400$ in parts and service charges that were not necessary,

I have had mine for like a month, no issues other than it's love for gas. Up until three days ago. Run rough and made like an on going whine or nonstop moan, but if I turned my wheel to the right it stopped, I really don't think it was steering pump. My over drive light kept turning it's self on. Not flashing. I just checked all my fluids about a week ago. All good, no issues. Then when all this started I checked em again I was real low on oil. Can't tell where that leak or issue is yet. But I am going now to check fuses, Oh if I had a brother that was a mechanic I would feel so lucky, if this turned out to be a fuse I would never talk trash about another Ford. Mine seems too severe for that to fix it, but I am so hopefull!! Thanks for sharing!!

I used one of these professionally (I was dealership tech) for 4 years every work day. Nothing went wrong except the chrome trim on the side locker didn't stay on, but that was just an aesthetic piece. Great tool box for the money.

Nice job. Wafer board was probably not your best choice though. And that boat has a weight limit of about 750 lb you have to keep that in mind when adding all of this stuff. I did enjoy the video.

this helped me out of no where my tow hall started flashing and truck would shake a lot and when i would drop in gear it would go and it seem liked it wanted to turn off when i gased it switch the 15 fuse amp and now runs good as new thanks 🔥🔥 IT WORKED FOR ME

Actually u don't have to pull the fuses to check them u can use a test light there r little holes on the back of each fuse and if there's not power on both sides of the fuse then the fuse is blown,, key on

Dude!!! You are freaking awesome. This is the exact problem that happened to my truck. Not only was the OD light flashing but the check engine light came on and it had 17 codes pop up. I researched this problem for 3 weeks ...you tube videos...talking to mechanics and even brought a transmission expert over here with an 8700$ scan tool and test drove it to no avail. Thanks to you the problem is solved. I was throwing parts at this truck and was losing hope. Thanks again young man....you are freaking awesome!

Trim relays are on side of motor you don’t need a new trim motor

You provide no diagnostic testing whatsoever. Just buy a module and throw it in there. Nice advice

That 4x4 module on the kick panel has a self test mode. If it passes the test, no need to replace. Unplug both connectors on the bottom of the module, key on engine off, press the self test button. If the red LED indicator flashes three times and then stays off, the module is good. If it doesn't flash at all, or the red LED indicator stays lit, the module or wiring to it is bad.

My 93 ranger has the same electronic system but with manual hubs. So far I can't tell if the 4x4 system even works because it seems to be an electrical issue as the switches don't do anything (no light, no solenoid clicking, and no dash light comes on), I just can't seem to find any schematics for the fuses or buttons. Which fuse would I need to check to start diagnosing? (If I recall these years of bronco and ranger have the same fuse panels according the chilton manual) And if you got a link to a good schematic that would be more than helpful. I'd rather start looking for the most simple problem and then diving deeper into the more complex stuff later if necessary. Unfortunately a manual swap of the transfer case is out of the question as I'd have to swap the transmission too being mine doesn't have the mounting holes for the linkage assembly. Been a while since I've done any wrenching, so I'm quite rusty these days and need some guidance lol.

On my 01 Ford f350 the wires on the gear shift lever had rubbed together enough to expose the bare wires. Which would cause a fuse to blow. Your over drive light may be flashing as an indicator as well

I bought my 2003 F150 for $1,000. Shortly after the transmission would only operate in second. I talked to a few guys with way more mechanical knowledge than me and most of their guesses involved more money than I had. I watched your video and HOLY CRAP! My truck had the same exact issue as yours. There was actually a box of 15 amp fuses in the glove box. I checked for the blown fuse just like in your video and it was blown, I replaced it and it worked! Not only, that but a couple days later I accidentally turned on the AC ,which hadn't been working, now it's working too! Coincident? I don't care! The truck runs great even though it has 188k miles on it. I just make sure I've got plenty fuses in the glove box.

$90 still ain't bad. Your interior is pretty damn clean too.
