Will this 1963 International cub lowboy finally work and flail grass?
This little cub has been nothing but a headache. Can we finally get the pto working and do a little flailing in the backyard? Gonna hafta watch and find out for sure. Thanks for watching and keep wrenching.

I finally get a chance to put this International Cub back together after almost two years of being down and see if I can get it back into working order.

Check out the newest member to the fleet. She's a 1957 International 350 Utility, and I unexpectedly won the bid at auction.
We're getting so close to shredding tires with this Belvedere.

I made an unplanned video about finding a pto engagement problem in my father's 1963 International Cub Lowboy. I'll explain why we split this tractor and what we found wrong. As always, thank you for viewing and keep wrenching on them projects.

ONLY 4 you are tractor poor
Those little tractors are cool and are still pretty useful. I don't know which ones are the best but you really can't replace them for what they're worth, at least with todays prices! That flail has the light duty knives on it. I would think that it would mulch the grass/weeds you cut pretty well, if the tractor has the power to keep it going. The older red cubs typically have a sickle bar mower (good for hay) but I don't think it would cut small brush like that will. Nice video.

G day from Ontario Boy I think that was a reasonable price. I had w6 ta under trans. there was a shut off for pto, to stop spinning I drink instant coffee, see if cap from jar might fit in steering wheel! I think it was good deal. Thx

I have the exact tractor Same year, color and a lowboy. Would you have any idea why my steering is so lose that the front wheels wobble from side to side in high gear? It seems to be in the steering box itself, The linkage from wheel to wheel is all tight but the steering wheel has a lot of play before the arm moves. Any suggestions how to fix?
I'm not really familiar with the internals on the steering box. Both of my father's cubs have pretty loose steering. I'll look into it and try to include it when I put it back together.
