I was born in 1960. The same year this wonderful show first aired. This scene is a perfect example of why 65 years later people are still watching and still laughing and still crying and still feeling so many emotions. It was the absolute perfect blend of love and tenderness and comedy and hope in relationship. There will never be another comedy series better. Signfield came close, but not quite.
Barney Fife just don't realize how famous he is still is after his death.. even in this day and age 2024 if you get pulled over by a smart-ass cop that's acting like a idiot all you got to say is who do you think you are BARNEY FIFE and they'll still get mad as hell because they. Know now who he is!!!!
The “Barney keeps his bullet in his front pocket” scene is easily Top 10 funniest moments in TV history. If you don’t love The Andy Griffith Show, you’re not an American.
My favorite was the haunted house where Andy made him almost pass out and Andy tells him we got a still to bust up then he says oh moon shiners i knew it was something like that 😮boo
I watch this show everyday after work... And always when its on.. It is pure enjoyment and has great values!!! Barney is so hilarious!!! It is pure enjoyment!!! Love it!!! 😂😂😂❤❤❤....
Only two people that could make me smile , anytime, every day, no matter what the day threw at me‼️ And that’s Don Knotts and Lucille Ball. Master & Mistress of comedy.❤👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
BARNEY WITH THAT PICTURE OF ROCK HUDSON IS HILARIOUS, THEY COULD NOT HAVE IMAGINED THAT IT WOULD FINALLY COME OUT THAT ROCK HUDSON WHO WAS A SEX SYMBOL AT THE TIME, TO PRETTY MUCH EVERY WOMAN ON THE PLANET, WAS AN ABSOLUTE FLAMING HOMOSEXUAL AND HATED EVERY SINGLE SCENE THAT HE EVER DID WITH WOMEN , AND THERE WAS A TON OF THEM
This show was on at noon phoenix time as reruns. As a Phoenix firefighter we watched Barney every shift! It was mandatory at most fire stations back then! At least 20 years straight! We absolutely loved “the ol Barn” and all of his antics!! We all related to Barney!!😅😅
Great video, but there is still one more scene that should have been included,it's from the Keeper of the flame episode, where Barney mistakes the moonshine for water at Jubile Fosters place.
I loved all the cast members everyone of of them I’m 63yrs old I still watch the Andy Griffith Show I’ll never get tired watching the show it was a good clean funny show they had church I could go on an on they don’t make shows like Andy Griffith anyone
Don Knotts was a phenomenal actor. He could be funny without saying a word, or break your heart with only a couple. His vulnerability comes through in heavy scenes, and it really adds sincerity to his deliveries. Same with when he’s playing for laughs.
He created the funniest character I’ve ever seen. He used the old do it like you mean it trick and don’t try to be funny. The scene is already funny so he does it like he means business and it puts me in stitches. Thank you so much for this gem.
"Tex Ritter," he said. Foreshadowing... if he only knew!

Don Knotts made the Andy Griffith show work its magic. After he left, the magic was gone. .❤🙏RIP Don Knotts 💐💎⭐
Mark thinks I'm him

I've seen all of these episodes. It is one of the top T.V. shows of all time.
What makes it even funnier is Andy trying not to laugh
Obviously the writers of TAGS didn’t know the truth about ole Rock …
If I slapped Arnold, he might have come back and set my house on fire
Barney was better dressed by wearing the black tie. Black and khaki goes right.
I love Barney he was a great entertained. RIP
Never be another Mayberry..Never be another Andy and Barney

My all time favorite actors, Andy Griffith and Don Knotts!

You all live to worship Hollywood, which is why the Western world is completely in the dark.
Jay walking Aunt Bea. 😂😂
Don Knotts. Comedy gold.
Acting as it Finest! ❤
After Don Kotts left, the show lost its spark; it just seemed flat without Barney.
Don and Andy are truly missed😢 RIP forever loved 💕

Barney has a good soul
Another fine moment for Don Knots was when he was on the witness stand testifying and spoke straight to, Mister Jackson”, in Andy’s defense.
Don Knotts was the finest character actor of the 60's. 😂😂😂
Word around Hollywood Rock Hudson was jealous of Barneys rugged good looks.

One of my absolute favorites! ❤️❤️❤️
Andy and Don are as Americana as Elvis, Hulk Hogan, Ray Charles, and John Wayne! They were television gold!!
Comedy gold and when Don left it wasn't the same. It lost something vital.
I think his best moment is missing: when Andy is brought up on charges. It’s the one where he says “this is a small town…”
He made that role classic. Don Knotts was genius.
About that beer I owed you
Thelma lou and Helen was beautiful
Old cannonball dub taylor was hilarious
I liked don in mr. Limpet fish animated
I loved andy griffith show barney was something else❤
Barney didn’t listen to Andy very well about keeping his bullet in his pocket
Top of my list of old school 80s or 90s every night reruns after practice dinner's ready shows.

Great video. He had several memorable moments on TAGS. He was talented and great character. Melanie
Don Knotts was amazing.
i love how barney has absolutely zero trigger discipline lmao
