Incredible storytelling. Glad to know there are other folks out there working their butts off for some crazy vision. A question - what’s the process to get permits for something like this? In a lot of cases I’d think you would just go for it and try to be quick but I have to imagine that much smoke would draw some attention.

Did you have to get a permit for this shoot? Lighting up 100 trees in a dry lakebed is kind of a small forest fire. The results are amazing though

You should try play around with thumbnail and title, it wasn’t really clear what you were doing for this photo. Something more informative and clickable, ‘I burnt 100 trees to take my dream photograph’ would attract a much wider audience.

This! This is so good! from a narrative standpoint, this was a least two productions and most haven't realized that yet. The building tension put into the Making-Of in the video was so good! I was genuenly anxious for the final photo at the end.
