Did it come with the keys
@@krampus1179 no , you have to add your own keycaps and switches
I have this keyboard right now but why cant i get the software?
I had an issue with downloading the drivers with just the Windows zip file manager. I had to download a free version of WinRAR to extract the two .rar driver files that they provide on the ClickClack website. Everything else was Plug and Play.
To use the screen on the keyboard for touch you need to follow the instructions ( from website) Windows 10 / Windows 11 System Touch Settings 1.Click the Start Button → Search Open Control Panel → Choose Hardware and Sound → Click Tablet Settings.
Im coming from a Focusrite 2i2 2nd gen that I’ve been using for about 8 years. I think it’s time to upgrade to the mt48
I definitely can relate there. There’s other less expensive options for sure but I haven’t regretted buying this yet. Theres a level of convenience I’ve grown to appreciate with the MT48
Works on Mac?
Unfortunately, my pre-order got cancelled due to manufacturing issue. I was excited for this keyboard since this was supposed to be my first keyboard from a group buy. So many delays to end up being cancelled. Thank goodness I get a full refund. Never again will I participate in a group buy. Haha
@@mrkvn223 dang, man I’m sorry to hear that happened. Yea groupbuys can be pretty volatile. You’ll want to just do some research on the brands but often they are usually safe just long. Sometimes a gamble too. I get boards early in order to talk quality so it sucks when ppl don’t get a great experience after the GB.
yo what kinda key caps are those
How did you get it to that gold color. That is beautiful. I can't figure out how to change the color.
Fn+F11 changes the backlight colors I believe! Haven’t typed on this for a while but I mentioned it in the vid
this keyboard sounds great after some lubing and tape modding
Lost me at "came in the mail"
@@notta3d lol why, you can try it with your hands I guess 😅😂
2:55 Would you mind sharing which keycap set youre using? I've been looking for a white and dark grey set.
gmk mercury base caps , it was tuff to fine.
@stevenwestside thank you
very helpful man especially the bios tweaks.. ha still got that extra ram??
Happy to help. Yeah haha it’s literally in a drawer 😅
so can i switch the keycaps of this keyboard with some that i buy on amazon ? i know nth about keyboards haha
Yup!
Too Clacky. I rather have a nice buttery smooth silent board like my Nuphy Halo75 with silent reds. I can't stop typing on it
You can build this board that way if you wanted to. I just chose these switches, plate and foam setup during build
There are a lot of 8k mice and a fair few lighter than these too
I’m sure there are other options out there now, this short posted in 2023
Can you please share a link to the keycaps?
Thinking about getting carbon fiber is that good ?
Top 2 favorite plate types for me. If you like clack go for it!
@@zekedgtlWhat’s your fav?
@@Kdiekrbf PP or Polypropylene
@ Thanks, PP has a pretty deep poppy sound to it sort of like POM, right? Correct me if I’m wrong.
Great video! I got mine a couple months ago and I love how it sounds. Did you ever figure out how to customize the LCD screen?
This or the Bridge75?
Hey! I know im very late, but are there rapid trigger mechanical keyboards in Japan? And if so, how much do they cost?
At the time I didn’t see any, but I’m sure there are more out there now.
If only this has rgb
Yea they often leave it out of the Neo boards, not sure why anymore
just found my nr 1 favorite keyboard content creator 🙏🙏
Welcome aboard! I appreciate you 🙌
does this thing have QMK VIA support?
Yes
Nice one bro😉
@@johanb.7869 thank you 💪
The screen IMO is useless and nothing more than a gimmick. You miss some keys too. I find those much more important. Compatible with Windows/Mac, but how about Linux?
@@johanb.7869 I haven’t tried it myself and I don’t think there’s any mention of it on the sales page . It should be okay for basic keyboard function if I’m not mistaken.
please provide keycap details!
Neo 75 CU vs Zoom75 Tiga?
I’m not sure man, they’re both really different keyboards in my opinion. I think im gonna stay out of that convo and let the ppl decide unbiased lol. I’ve got videos for both so there’s signs tho 😅😂
Which keyboard isn’t compatible with both Mac and Windows?
When I mention that, I mean the ability to swap the functions of the windows/command keys etc. That’s often done automatically by switching to either Mac or Windows mode & some PCBs don’t allow you to easily swap those functions even by using via. That said, In most cases almost all keyboards should able to plug into both OS and type.
Nice note about it being a builder's keyboard. A lot of good pre built right now. So a building one is a nice change of pace.
Totally!
What a beautiful color way
🙌🙌
Would be great to get weights in g as well. Seems you were riffing when you mentioned it felt about 3lbs, which no worries , but in the future, even if you could edit it in as text onscreen if it's not scripted like that
Yeah you're right, I'll try to make sure to include that in the future. Thanks for the feedback!
Nice vid mates
Thanks 👍
Where can i download the keymap file from. I am not able to change the light and can't type a titde symbol as the function key works as a windows key.
Do you have a via tutorial? I have never used it before and the design tab is missing to add the Json file
I don’t but that’s a really good idea, I’ll see about making one soon. In regards to the side lights I haven’t pulled this board out for a while so I’m not sure. I’d recommend joining the Meletrix discord and dropping them a help ticket
That is really nice and stylish at a fair price but not my ideal, which would be a low-height laptop keyboard with the added ability to fold onto itself. Basically a modernized Sony Vaio P-series laptop with a super-wide screen. My hunt continues (been through 10.1" classic netbooks, 7" NANOTE NEXT laptop (video review before the end of the year I hope), great vid, have a sweet November yo :)
I haven't checked in on the keyboard scene in like 3 years. It's wild that this is now a mid range board especially for that price. I swear this would have been like $400+ easily only a few years ago.
You are right, the keyboard scene has really exploded in the last few years.
Do the v2s and the original ones sound exactly the same? Also nice video
Thanks for the review, I’ve been waiting for this since I got grey gold with brass as well.
That’s perfect, glad I can help out . I think you’ll love it! Any ideas for which switches yet?
@ I’ve got HMX and TTC switches coming in to try them both
just saw the ad, top tier quality video, subbed, hope you go viral man, keep it up
Thank you! Welcome to the channel 🙌💪
Nice vid mate
Thanks!
mind if i ask how you got it so early? did you get it for review or did they ship yours out early?
What keycaps?
Looks like Osume tsukimi
They sound amazing and the contrast of the cap on that board is stunning!
🙌🙌
The king is back!!
@@DvineDragoon ayeee
I was THIS close to purchasing one, but then I realized I already had 5 other keyboards I never use besides my main driver and decided against it. Now I am sad, but my wallet is happy. Well, not happy, but happier than it would've been.
Totally acceptable. I often forget that you guys also have hella keyboards hanging around 🤣
@@zekedgtl You don't? 😅 I thought it was common sense to keep at least a dozen in the wardrobe...
yea you’re totally right, I honestly have like 50 rn 😅 I would not necessarily recommend lol
Great video! Is the tri-mode PCB connector USB-A? the dongle looked like so.
Thank you, and yep! I haven’t seen a USB-C dongle included with a keyboard yet. That would be interesting
@@zekedgtl I'm new in this whole custom keyboard thing so I wasn't sure :) thanks for replying!
Nice vid mate I don’t know if you mentioned it, watched the video a few times but wasn't super attentive , but if it's tri-mode, does the wireless have QMK/VIA/VIAL compatibility v
Thank you Jammies. Yes and VIA compatible but I don’t believe in wireless mode. Don’t think I’ve ever tested a keyboard that could do that.. is that a thing ?
@@zekedgtl I don't mean being configurable with VIA while wireless. I just mean being configurable with VIA, and then usable wireless afterward without mapping issues. I do believe wireless configuration with VIA is possible, but I think it's extremly rarely implemented because of battery drain issues. However, there are a few boards (e.g., Keychron), that appear to have implemented remapping with VIA that are then able to be used wireless without battery issues, but i'm not so sure on how that works
@jammies701 oh I see what you mean. I’ll give it a try in a bit, but I would assume so.
@@jammies701 On the official Qk website, it says all PCBs are VIA compatible. If you ctrl+F search VIA on the GB page you will see it in point 5 in the further notes and instructions section.
Great video, showcases the grey-gold colour-way perfectly. Thank you!
Thank you, glad I can help! I even brought out the matching hoody 😂
