This video just saved me hours of troubleshooting. Just bought the bad boy Magnum 54” manufactured in December 2024 And am currently fixing issue #2 from the video. The machine has 6hrs use on it. Very disappointed with all the loose components in this new model. My side plate bolts have also come off during mowing from being assembled poorly. Love Bad Boy but come on men! Keep making quality equipment please

Some are fixed with the basics while many others have low fuel pressures,tight valves and or the fuel pump relay doesnt work when its below 40 degrees outside.

I bought a new Pace economy 8.5 x 16 with 3500lb tandem axle in 2001. I have used the trailer almost every day for my business. It has probably seen 250k to 280k miles probably more. It has seen three diesel trucks I have owned come and go and now its on its fourth. I have literally worn holes in the front of the sheet metal which I intend to cover with diamond plate. I have put 7 sets of tires on it and two sets of wheels. I think I paid about $4000 for it in 2001. It has seen thousands upon thousands of job site in all kinds of weather and terrain. I am so impressed with what it has been able to do. I am not sure that a more expensive model would be any better or last any longer.

Never trust the salesman for your information. Here's the deal. I did my homework to buy a custom 24' enclosed aluminum car hauler (EZ Hauler by Alcom). My purchase drivers were #1. Utility and #2. Price. This is where I went wrong. I fixated on the "Trailer" as most of us would. After owning it for less than 2 days, we found wiring problems. I attempted to resolve it through my dealer (1,200 miles away) who jumped through hoops in an effort to help but we found that Alcom is likely the worst trailer manufacturer for dealer and customer support. In short, the #1 driver for your purchase decision should give (at minimum) equal consideration for factory support. Without it, your warranty and any other matters are worthless. I now know "I'm on My Own". With this new information, I began to assess Alcom's reputation using its own customer reviews as the litmus test. Eight out of Ten reviews are a scathing report on Alcom. I sent multiple emails to their customer support site and received "nothing back", which turned out to be the #1 complaint by customers. SOOO ... when you get ready to make that trailer purchase, check our the manufacturer first. I checked out others and found the same issues. Just like our national cliche "Freedom isn't Free" ... When it comes to buying a trailer, "Cheap isn't Cheap".

This is why you should have waited until you got your deal on selling these products and took some courses. Because your wrong ... about sooooo much here. Its a shame. And its simply wrong. Your steering people wrong here. And this door "package" ... could you could let the viewers know the name of this "package" please ? Ill wait ... do your research folks. Dont list to lawn mower dealers acting like polaris representatives.

How is that last high class trailer you showed better with osb walls and floor than the cheaper models that have plywood?

So my question is, why not use a collared bolt with a Nylock so that it doesn't tighten it up too tight but tightens it up tight enough that you won't lose nut? Poorly engineered?....

Can someone explain why some are called a utility enclosed trailer and another is a car hauler? But the have the same exact style, set up, accessories and weight rating.

I have the 2020 450HO just bought it for my daughter. but same thing I just put in a new agm battery, new sparkplug day b4 xmas maybe 20 mins of run time and now it just cranks over not even an attempted pop

I just bought a new Bad Boy Maverick HD Zero turn mower. I appreciate this video. Because I am looking to add some accessories. The tip on the stripping accessory was extremely helpful. My only complaint with my Bad Boy Maverick HD is the foot level for adjusting the hight of the deck or just to rase the deck quickly to pass over something. I am 6' 4" and 250 pounds. And it is very difficult for me to push the foot level. Impossible for my wife to push it. Wish Bad Boy would develop some kind of accessory to access with the foot level, where the operator is basically dead lifting the weight of a very heavy deck. I love the heavy deck. Just difficult to push the foot peatal.

Who has already bought a Bad Boy tractor? What did you get and what do you think of it?

I strongly disagree about hillside stability. I had a 60" 6000 and I mow a lot of ditches commercially and if the front ever got pointed downhill you had to ride it down and hopefully didn't get back end stuck on the hill and have the rear tires off the ground. I have 2 61" Rogue mowers, and both will pull the front end back up the ditch, and I have never been stuck with the back tires off the ground, unlike the Toro. It's a hands down win for the Rogue in my experience in stability and performance.

You can get god and well made without having to pay a fortune. I used a custom builder in Georgia that lets you choose nearly every option from material aluminum vs. steel with frame size and spacing along with riveted vs. 3M VHB sides/top, extra. I chose good bones 7-1/2’x16’ V-Nose, 12” OC floor, 16” OC walls & ceiling with 4lb. closed cell foam, with 9” extra height, ramp back and an RV lock side door; all for under $3.5k, pre-Covid. Given I got it without the interior as I’m a contractor send preferred to build the interior to suit.

It’s just minor changes and paint jobs …… don’t buy the name …. Buy the price ….. cause almost all tractors are the same and use the same dam parts …

As a B B mechanic, you have some machines that could be changed for ease of repair. He did not say what transmissions are rated for the size of yard you cut. Hour meters are going to fail, and they sell for way too high. No anti sieze on any thing. Forget the wife. Nooo. Briggs please. Carbs on engines will be way high in cost if they can't get unclogged. Changing drive belts on some is a Big Pain to change for consumers. I could go on about this video. He talks about speed. Thats for people not taught right about cut and turf , and size of yards.

I am still old school and like maintaining my equipment. I don't mind buying a few gallons of gas once in a while or changing oil in anything I own. It's just part of life and not really a "chore" like some claim. Battery operated crap don't interest me. All the minerals they have to mine to make those batteries is a bunch of crap, especially when we are importing all of it (thanks to our numbnuts administration) Replacement batteries are expensive and you will need them eventually, gauranteed.

Great video, finally looking to replace my trailer. For what it’s worth, I bought a 25’ rc cargo all sport new in 2013 for $9k. I now have over 600k on it hauling full of motorcycles at all times. The salt has taken its toll, but with routine maintenance and a little welding here and there it has made it through. Other trailers cost 2 to 3 to 4x, but as someone who’s used this every day to its full capabilities, this budget trailer has over performed. Dealers tell me you are lucky to get 100k out of these POS. For a crappy trailer with shotty workmanship, my rc cargo has proven many wrong. It doesn’t look as nice as a 50k trailer, but I don’t think I’m going to get 2.5 million miles out of a 50k trailer, so the value is not there for me.
