    On Mr Menno's latest video, a leading US sex-based rights feminist admitted she spoiled her voting ballot rather than vote for the candidate that said he would restore sex-based rights for females for females-only sports & spaces, and would leave abortion rights up to each state. I wonder why myself & other women go the extra mile for sex-based rights, when some feminists set such a poor example by spoiling their ballots & refusing to vote for candidates that support sex-based rights, simply because they are on the Right of politics. Here in Australia we don't have as many choices. Both Left & Right of politics are seemingly captured. This is so discouraging. If Australia actually had parties that were willing to restore women's sex-based rights, what is the point if women won't vote for them? 🤔😟

    I've always thought that cannabis and heroin use are both very conducive to being conservative. There are other drugs which maybe considered more aligned with rebelliousness, tho I'd argue that that's rarely long term.

    Remember also all those whistleblowers who leave abusive men, try to get back on their feet but are thwarted at every move by state, ex and indifferent employers & services who withhold what’s needed. Lone mums/women must have access to fit for purpose affordable, tenured, decent housing/ health/childcare/ support services for as long as they need it. Give jobs to survivors - what happened to peer support/walking alongside? No $$ to captured women’s organisations who are never on struggling survivors’ sides but on their own middle class income, pensions & careers by administering to the “poor”. Plus make perps pay…

    Great conversation. Feminism has been so trashed over the decades, it is great to hear veteran feminists give a broad view. Equality on the basis of women fitting into a world made & maintained for & by men, is not Women's Liberation. I lived through the awful fracturing of feminism when women who chose motherhood were ostracised & mocked. I think we have deep psychological work to do to recover from the trauma of what we saw our mothers & grandmothers live through - well, half lives at most! Women needing to align with men & shun mothers/women is something I have seen & still see. It is fundamentally a trauma reaction & can be vicious! Thanks again.

    I thought the Defense's use of a picture of Dan Andrews as Adolf Hitler was a massively missed opportunity for Moira and her Lawyer. Moira was asked if it was "offensive". She agreed. But she or her Lawyers should have suggested that it was funny, just like the Defense team would see a picture of Donald Trump as Adolf Hitler, funny. I laughed out loud when I saw the pic of Andrews. Bad taste ? Sure. Offensive ? meh. Offensive if it's Andrews and funny if it's Trump. I despise selective outrage.

    I'm glad I found your yt channel. I'm a working class lesbian from the UK who has always been politically on the left. Much like you I will work with most people campaigning against sex denialism. I don't agree with everything that Kellie Jay says but I absolutely reject what those from Womens Place, the women, men and men who claim they are women say and do. One of their leaders celebrated the attacks on Israel last October. They despise uncooth working class women like me and constantly talk over us. I did go to their first meeting, and the thing that I thought was great was there were women there from all political persuasions and none. The worst thing was that they platformed two men who claim they are women and call them she and think there is a compromise to be made. Since then all they have done is punch down on Kellie Jay and any woman who associates with her. They have spectacularly failed to make contact with ordinary women and have nothing to show for their efforts over the last few years beyond their political purity spiral. In terms of this case, it will be interesting to hear Deemings lawyer eviserate the guilt by association witch hunt against her.

    I'm appalled by the Defence Lawyer. He is hell bent of proving guilt by association. If I sit next to a man on a bus who tells all the other passengers that "The Moon is made of cheese", DOES NOT make me believe that the Moon is made of cheese NOR that I agree with him. I'm also astonished by the assertion by the defence lawyer that "Men have penises and women have vaginas" is somehow a "controversial" viewpoint that is not "main stream".

    Edie’s point about explicitly pointing to the evidence of the institutional take over is a pivotal one I think. The grubby paws of toffy lawyers are all over gender identity politics & the disenfranchisement of women & we can never forget it. The discipline of Law was an early adopter & a major driver of “critical social justice” - waves at Dentons & all the lawyers running the WHO.

  • @mumtrader
    @mumtrader หลายเดือนก่อน

    The pivot to “we” is an indicator that the speaker is playing some kind of identity politics imo. There is no such thing as a group so homogenous that they can be reliably bound by one idea, belief or concept. This is how we’ve ended up with so many religious sects. 🤷‍♀️
