🎄Cutting down our first Christmas tree looks different than we expected!
Take your top off!
I’ve been trying to get into the habit of prepping food earlier in the day. It makes preparing dinner so less stressful!
We eat onions with almost every meal. I need to chop and freeze them too!
What is on the jar?
Sourdough discard
The baking soda is literally sandpaper on your teeth. Male sure to check on with a dentist that you haven't worn away any enamel because you could end up needing caps
This is good to know! I've always had a good report back from the dentist, thankfully 🤞
Hello, The reason your teeth feel cleaner is because you’re using an strong abrasive to clean your teeth. This is HARMFUL to your enamel on a daily and microscopic basis. If your teeth don’t feel clean after using crest, then you aren’t brushing properly. Toothpaste is scientifically designed to REMINERALIZE teeth. Something you can’t see and something that homemade toothpaste simply cannot do- calcium carbonate does NOT remineralize teeth.
You should get one of those scarves that straps your baby to you
I've wanted to try that!
Lovely mom, beautiful baby. Your joy in your calling as a mother will bless your family all their lives. I've been a SAHM for 25 years and I wouldn't trade it for anything! May God bless you and your family.
Thank you so much for the sweet words! God bless you too
Would love to see a video on how to make yogurt!
Coming soon!
I cook a lot on our BBQ, when it's too hot. And sometime, I bring the instant pot, the slow cooker or even the air fryer outside. We don't have an outdoor kitchen, just a patio table and an extension cord.
I love the idea to bring the small appliances outside! I'll definitely be doing that now too :)
Kombucha failed
Major fail lol
My sister needs some sour dough starter 😊
Checking locally on Facebook is a great way to get free sourdough starter :)
We lived in Alaska and never needed AC till one summer when it got all the way up to 80° 😅. These tips would have come in handy!
It's tough when there's just a few really hot days during the year without AC! We deal with a few weeks of high 70-80 degree weather, but thankfully the rest of the summer is so pleasant.
I think this rendition of focaccia bread would make great hamburger buns.
What a great idea.
It'd be delicious with hamburgers!
I would think sea salt scratches the enamel off the teeth 🤔
That's a good point! I've been using it for years and my dentist has always commented on my healthy teeth. You could always leave the salt out if you feel like it's too rough on your teeth. It'll still make your teeth feel nice and polished without it.
Love these easy ideas!
Thank you! If they weren't so easy, I wouldn't want to use them 😁
If you were to go on vacation and couldn’t open the bottles for a while, would you leave the bottles open, or would you have to start over from scratch?
Once it gets to your desired carbonation level, you can stick it in the fridge to slow the fermentation down significantly. I think that's what I would do if I went on vacation 😊
Oh, dear…I think of all the lemon, orange, and lime peels I have thrown out through the years. 😮 But now, I will repurpose them into a vinegar cleaning solution. Thank you! Your vids are very relaxing and peaceful, btw.
@@FairGround702 I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos! I've wasted a ton of citrus fruits in the past years too, so I'm excited to have a way to put them to good use.
What’s it like living in Wyoming? I’m hoping to visit in a couple of years, once I’ve saved enough money (I live in the UK).
It feels like the wild west 😄 We absolutely love it! We love the small town feeling and all the beautiful nature. It's definitely an adjustment with the brutal winters and learning how to live without big box stores near us. You'll love the beauty here when you visit!
I live in Wyoming, do you mind if I ask where in Wyoming you live? Great video!
Oh neat! We live along the Wind River mountain range south of Jackson. What area are you in?
🙂WOW...🙂Amazing!👍Excellent job! 🙂Thanks for sharing this wonderful video 🙂 really fascinating 🙂🙂Carry on!🙂Your friend with big like!🙂Stay connected!🙂🙂With best wishes🙂🙂
Thanks so much for watching and the sweet comment!
So many pre-grated cheeses contain ‘powdered cellulose’ or ‘potato starch’ so I love your idea of using a rotary grater. Also, the tip about pre-chopping and freezing onions is fantastic. Can’t wait to incorporate both of these ideas!
That's another great reason to grate my own cheese. I love that it's simply cheese ☺️
We shred all our cheeses and we have just started making our own pizza dough I have been making sourdough bread since 2020 we live in a neighborhood so our plot of land is just shy of a quarter of an acre we have enough for a container garden and herb 🌿 garden we call this our little homestead
I love to hear how you're making the most of your space! I hope to put good use to our small herb garden 😀
The joy in cooking high carb foods that makes everyone fat. There you go.
Your comment brought me joy 🤣 Thanks for watching!
Carb Nazi lol. I was on the carnivore diet and I felt this exact same way whenever I saw videos like this. It was the carb withdraws controlling me 😂
@@Adrenaline89Junky Pot pie crust is one heck of a drug 😁
Tell that to the whole continent of Asia. Apparently they missed your memo. 😊
The colder the crust, the lighter and flakier it is when baked. That’s the purpose of the ice in the water 😉
Oh that's good to know!
Looks amazing ❤
It's delicious! My family loves this easy din 😊
Doubling the meatloaf is brilliant. I’m doing this from now on. Tip: Meatloaf recipes can also be made instead into meatballs for a different style dinner.
That's a great idea! I'm thawing the meatloaf now and might separate it into meatballs.
This was a great video, but… just admit it was wine in the Dutch oven… 😜
It's the secret ingredient 😆
Love the idea of freezing cinnamon rolls individually!
It's so nice to have them for a quick treat!
I notice Maeve does a lot of eating, but almost never cooks. Seems a little unbalanced, if you ask me.
Lol she's been freeloading for far too long 😆
That is a great idea for the clothespin! They sell them at Dollar Tree!
I'll definitely check there next time we need them! They seem to go missing after a year or so lol just like bobby pins!
@@parkselevateddesign exactly! Where do they actually go though!!
I think castile soap is a concentrate and that’s why it’s good to cut it with water, otherwise it would be too drying too. I had a doctor that told me one of her patients gave her the tip of cutting everything with water. Dish soap, shampoo, etc. It’s a great way to save some money.
Oh this is good to know. I'm glad that I've been mixing the water in then. Thanks so much!
I like the idea of making lemon vinegar for cleaning. How long do you let it set? P. S. Love the painting in the background 😊
It's so easy and cleans great! I usually let it sit for at least 2 weeks, if not longer.
I’m definitely making my own chocolate syrup now!
So glad to hear this! I hope you love it!
This recipe looks amazing! Thanks for sharing, Megan! 🙂
It was delicious! Thanks so much for watching, Kimberly 😊
Your water mug seems kinda small… 😉
Lol it does the job!
😂🎉😮 What?
It's the best thing since sliced bread 😉 here's more info: parkselevateddesign.com/dry-sourdough-starter/
The pancakes and mousse are also really healthy because pumpkin is packed with nutrients 👍🏼
Great point! I love pumpkin, and thankfully it's actually healthy!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed this. What a lovely, peaceful way to start the week 😊
Thanks so much for watching! Nothing beats a good start to the week :)
Such a pleasant, relaxing video ❤
So glad you enjoyed it :)
