    my swift sport 2020 hybrid (bog standard) did 6,6sec/100km/h on dry weather with TC enabled. these little hot hatches are really understated.

      No. The new hybrid engine showes very poor tuning headroom because the turbo is smaller

      @iNSTAGiB There is no point. Those who want the better drivers card buy the non hybrid model anyway. It is cheaper, lighter and with a remap it instantly has 180hp and 300NM

      It’s feeling especially very light, nimble and quick. With a good 205 tire and the HKS exhaust it provides a lot of driving pleasure!

    According to HKS website, there are no products for K14D. So, k14C and K14D share the same exhaust system(down pipe, mid, rear). Can I understand it this way? Nice video! Thx for sharing!

      The ID-plate in the silencer says K14C indeed, but it bolts right on! The downpipe (including catalytic converter and GPF) remains stock, it’s a HKS midpipe and all the way back.

      @@testadelcomputer1839 I think it’s loud enough to make it sporty, but not too much so it doesn’t become uncomfortable. You can buy this at any HKS distributor. In Belgium it’s also offered through the official Suzuki dealerships

    You have original central pipe with 2 silencers ? I put on mine only the central pipe with one silencer instead original two but sound didn’t change from stock. (With rear stock exhaust)

    Third gear takes 2 sec of time - otherwise if 2ND was longer time 0-100 would be 5 sec 💪

      Na it doesn't work exactly like that because you would have to lengthen 2nd gear reasonably significantly so it could hit 60 in second. That would mean that the torque at the wheels would be less for 2nd gear so it wouldn't accelerate as hard. It may help the time but you would loose a second or so from the longer gearing. If the person could change gear faster that would help!!

      @@byspartanlaw good to hear, have fun with it! I only put on some semislick tyres, no other modifications done. About the tyres; more road noise and worse in rain, but once the tyres are hot, it’s amazing!

    There are a lot of work in this engine. You have to eliminate the particle filter, eliminate the EGR valve and remap the engine... 160-168hp.

      Thanks. No, the blow off valve is now integrated into the turbo. An external blow off is no longer possible

    Hello, how many rpms it has on 6th gear at 130km/h? Previous Swift Sport (standard non-Hybrid version 1.4 BoosterJet 103kW) had 3000rpm @ 130km/h on 6th gear. Thank you.

      @iNSTAGiB The system continuously monitors the charge. I’ve never seen below 1 bar. Even if the battery should be used completely, it will quickly be charged by the ISG

    Is the turbo cooled when engine off? So when you accelerate en the start stop is active the turbo is not very hot

      No it’s not actively cooled, since both oil and coolant pump are mechanically powered by the engine

      @@ikarugaxx3749 It’s always better to have a ‘cool of’ time (idling) of a few minutes after the turbo has been working hard. For normal driving, the system has been designed so it can handle the start-stop

      Agree, if you drive your turbo glowing hot. In regular usage, modern oils are capable enough to ‘stick’ to all engine parts untill next restart

    I have a question. The K14D torque is 235 Nm WITH the power of the 48V? K14C was 220 torque without the 48V system, so if the 48V system give 50 Nm, it mean the K14D have less torque than K14C

      Hi, as far as I’m aware, the K14D engine was developed to have better consumption and emissions than K14C. The hybrid system will compensate for the ‘lost’ power

      K14D's 235 Nm torque is without the assist of electric motor, just like its 95 kW power. :) The electric motor with its 53 Nm and 10 kW helps when setting the car in motion and when you push pedal to the metal (up to 5k RPM).

      Hi, it is a completely different engine. Different turbo, cilinder head, VVT, EGR,.. So it includes a little more than just mapping :)

      @@ravenheart369 in my other video you can see that the car is the quickest when you shift at about 5000rpm instead of redline. I have no experience with engine modifications

      Hi, there is a button on the dashboard, left from the steering wheel to turn off the system. This will work only one cycle, so until you manually turn off the car.

    Hello. Are you sure about the 48V on Swift? I knew that 48V is only on Vitara and XCross hybrids, all the rests are 12V hybrids. Can you check?

      Hi, 48V hybris system is used on all 1.4 K14D engines. This means Swift Sport, Vitara and S-Cross. The ‘normal’ Swift has a 1.2 K12D engine, which has a 12V hybrid system. Same goes for Ignis

    Hey got question this is the K12D right? The non hybrid version is K12C it has direct injection means carbon build up but does the K12D direct injection to?

      Michael as mentioned in the first second of the video, this is the K14D version, with direct injection, such as the K14C engine. The K12C and K12D engines are both used in the ‘normal’ (non-sport) Swift. The K12* engines do not use direct injection.

      Michael it’s not a common issue at Suzuki and every car brand uses direct injection nowadays, so I wouldn’t make a big deal of it.

      Michael K14C engine was only launched about 4-5 years ago. Most Suzuki drivers keep their cars at least 7 years because of reliability

    Seems the engine setup is quite sophisticated. It runs on 95 RON so means the petrol will cost more.

      95 Ron is cheaper. 98 Ron is the expensive stuff (Shell v-power etc).

      Three pot engines sound great I think. They've a nice warble but they're not as good as 5 cylinder engines. 4 cylinder just sounds standard tbh
