Hi ! Would these be good water shoes ?
@@pm1862 I haven't used them as such though compared to water shoes I have worn I would say they wouldn't be the same. They drain but the fabric will hold onto water and the tread doesn't do well when wet
I like your casual explanation…u r a good teacher
Thank you! 😃
gonna try this on my next mace training
@@j.k.6200 let us know how you find them 👍
Хорошее упражнение.Я его делаю с пудовой гирей.Нужно будет попробовать с молотом.Спасибо.
@@ХаральдМрачный yep a hammer will add some instability which will slow the movement down
What weight mace are you using ?
@@MrTimothWind in this video just a 5kg though you can go heavier if you like
Looks really good , I'll try these
@@MrTimothWind awesome, keep us updated on your progress
"Order position" might not mean anything to some people but even the novice should be able to figure out the "erection position" LOL. Hats off to you for coming up with the best term I've heard LOL
@@maxpower8052 there's lots of names out there for positions. I know the "Order" as "Rack Stance" and I've heard others too. The erect is incorrect and handy for highlighting to some of my 1-2-1 clients when they were doing it.
Sometimes we gotta have fun with it
Ты восстановился после травмы.Молодец.
@@ХаральдМрачный thanks 👍 I'm healing but still a long way to go before at 100%
Use a shoe stretcher if the big toe room doesn’t satisfy you. Those who feel sore, wear an extra thick insole
@@johntay3831 it wasn't the big toe for me though if no other brand suits, a stretcher it may have to be
How heavy? 15lbs? Was it 300 per arm or in total?
This is 22 lbs for 300 in total
Good to see you back again.👏💪
@@Markus-wy8dl thanks 😀 slow and steady
@@armouredmuscle that is the only way. You will make it.💪🙋♂️
To put insoles back in the shoe, bend it into a lengthwise “U” and insert all the way, then let it go flat.
A little late finding this, but I have the EXACT same problem with you on vivos. I love their shoes. It's a damn shame. My strategy has been to just suffer through a break in period. Still on the hunt for alternative brands or models of vivos that dont have the problem of the tight tapering toe box on toes 3, 4, and 5 .
Merrell and Xero so far have worked well for me. Next on the list to try are the Saguaro shoes.
What are those oranges laces called

Hey man. I really like the movements, can I ask you, where do people find these "flow forms" ? Is there an official name for it? Or some kind of book? Or do people simply combine/craft some of the movements themselves into a continous movement and simply call it a flow ?
@@BlackonBlack- thanks 👍 this one is a creation of my own. Generally there are no set "Flows". When starting out it's best to copy someone else. I have a few breakdowns of flows on the channel and this video may be good to watch about the theory of it all 👇 th-cam.com/video/r-QbL0O239M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=QOBWmqPIRfOTmBnF

@@paddywiggle I tried a few sizes another model since. The bigger sizes that fit my toes slip out at the heel. The sizes that support my heel put pressure on the toe nail 🤷
Wtf was that i liked it
This is a mace eye view of Steel Mace fitness training 👍
My top 5 would be: 1. 360 2. 10 and 2 3. Uppercut lunge 4. Barbarian squat 5. Grave digger
Pretty similar. I'd probably class the 10 and 2 in the 360 bracket variation. Grave diggers are pretty good 👍
Very dissappointing. Was expecting a full suit of armor.
One day maybe ;)
Using the Choke up is a good way to transition to a heavier weight. If you don't have an adjustable mace, a 5 lb. jump can be difficult at first. Choking up helps to get use to the new heavier weight without sacrificing control. As you become more comfortable with the heavier weight slowly work your hands down the handle.
Absolutely 👍
Hey! Following your channel and training the mace with you since. Do you have any idea how to get into that starting position during a flow ? I'm aware of your recent video on how to build a flow but I don't have any idea for that one Cheers!
Awesome, glad to hear it. Take a look at the Fire Prince Flow tutorial
Great combination! I'll add this to my collection of mace moves. Thank for the great videos!
You're welcome. I'm trying to get a new one out each week.
That's good to hear. I'm glad I discovered Armoured Muscle!
The whirlwind looks like the most dangerous of the three LOL. I'd take it slow for sure. But I'm surprised you can't feel the kettlebell slingshot. Perhaps your bell is too light. The slingshot is one of my favorite warm ups with a kettlebell. But I can see why you'd feel the whirlwind more with the extended lever. I'll have to try it.. slowly LOL
Yep I don't feel it. I get more from an offset farmers walk than the KB. Of course I say give the Whirlwind a go. The effect does come better with a bit of oumph ! Agreed, take it slow to learn the process first.
He needs to put his feet together so his legs don't eat the weight, and the bell does look way too light for his build. Maintain straight arms, don't lift from you bicep; gather some momentum for the centripetal force. Actually lock down your core "shield" and ribs. If he still doesn't feel it when he does the exercise right he needs to donate his body to science. Of course it's fine to not like an exercise, even before you've performed it with perfect form, nobody has that kind of time anyway. But orbits are pretty neat.
Great. Thank you. Good explanation.
Thanks. Hope it helps 👍
Большое спасибо за 2ое упражнение.
You're welcome 👍
What I like about your presentation is that many of the other "flow" demonstrations look like choreographed dance moves which I am not interested in memorizing, counting reps per side, dramatic and theatric-like movements as though I am in a dance contest. In my workouts I combine a cardio routine with gymnastic rings--"cheating" on push-ups, pull-ups, dips and rows using my legs and arms for HIGH reps to get my heart rate up and then grab the 10 or 12 lbs. sledge hammer or the 15 lbs. mace bell and swing, squat, grave dig and overhead swing to my heart's content for 45-50 minutes--exhausting and all done with the intent of "flow" uppermost in my mind. However, you contradict yourself in that in the initial presentation you are basically saying "to hell" with prescribed steps, rotations, repetitions, and then you pause and lament where you left off and can I repeat the same movements for the other side. My response is "who gives a shit, just keep the movement going" and have fun with it. This is not "Dancing With The Stars".--mike
Thank you for sharing your side of the coin and approach to movement. If the "dance" style flow is something you prefer not to do, that's fine, nobody is saying you must do it. The best movement is the movement you'll do again, for some that's the choreographed flow style. I suppose where it seems like I contradict myself is in that their is no need to have to follow somebody else's prescribed steps, one is free to make their own. However, good practice is to keep the body balanced by repeating the steps/quantity for the other side of the body too.
@@armouredmuscle agree--thank you for the reply--mike
That's a beast. Gonna look for one.
It's a challenge for sure. This one is custom made
Mate I don’t know enough to critique your technique. I just want to say that hammer looks like great fun to play with
There's always improvement to technique to be made. Though yes, the hammer is a great challenge.
Love the giant hammer
It draws attention 😉
Bad@$$ mace
Exactly!
7 years ago shoes were simply better. Every next generation of shoes is shitier
Can't say my knowledge goes back 7 years but my earlier Merrell's were better despite the tread
That's badass!👍👍

Thank you very much, you helped me a lot. I also have a long index toe ( Greek foot ). Do you have enough room in the toe box...little toe? This has now become my problem with barefoot shoes. I speak Google English... I hope you understand me
Yes, the little toe has good room. 👍

@@armouredmuscle I startet the journey with your inspiration 💪🙋♂️
Why are you slurping coffee at the start ? What is that supposed to represent ? Not being funny but I really don’t understand why you would do that on the video. If you’re thirsty, why not just have a drink before filming ? If you’re not thirsty then all it does is come across as rather pretentious. Sorry but it’s really irritating that. Good review otherwise.
Hence why I've not done it again in any of my other videos 👍 It's an algorithm thing I did on advice to help grow the channel but yeah, it felt stupid AF doing.
Lol
Wow ! What weight mace do you practise with? I currently own a 20lb but it seems heavy!
For flow work I use a 5 kg. Yes, 20lbs is a bit unbalanced for flow.
@@armouredmuscleok! Going to get a 10lb, 5kg thank you for the inspiration!
Wow, that's cool! If I didn't clock myself in the shine earlier, I would be all over this. Gonna work on not hitting my leg first so I regain my confidence with the mace and try this later =)
Yep, having shins does help. Fortunately there's not a lot of travel past the shin for this one.
Maravilloso
Absolutely, thanks.
